What Is Thirty-One Gifts?

Thirty-One Gifts is a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) company founded by Cindy Monroe 14 years ago back in 2003. Its purpose is to empower women and help them to create a successful business. “Thirty-One” to the last chapter of the Proverbs in the Bible.

I found that very interesting but then I found out that this company is supporting Planned Parenthood and some organizations that support abortion. That’s why I found this very controversial because I’m a Christian myself.

Thirty-One Gifts grew rapidly and its golden years were around 2012. They had more than 90,000 distributors all around the U.S. and Canada. Their yearly turnover was more than 1 billion. But I noticed that the popularity of this system is little by little going down.

But let’s find out what kind of products do they have.

Thirty-One Gifts Products

Most of their products are bags and storage products. But they also have wallets, jewelry and something similar. Their target person is clearly a woman. They use lots of pink color on their website and everything seems to appeal to women.

They don’t call their manly products normally like, “Men’s products” but they are “Gifts for him” as you can see in the picture below. This means that women are dealing with themselves and a man isn’t involved in this system.

Thirty-One Gifts offers also some products for men.

The products are so much overpriced like in some other MLMs like for example in Party Lite. But I think that you could still buy these similar products for a cheaper price in a local store. You can also have a look at their prices on Amazon. What do you think?

I always say that MLM-systems are built so that you need to pay a little bit extra. Otherwise the system would collapse because distributors need to pay their uplines as well.

Are Thirty-One Gifts Products High-Quality?

I noticed that they were a few complaints on the Internet about their products. The backpack ripped off in a week or something like that. I have used the same backpack (not from Thirty-One Gifts) for almost 10 years and it’s still working well. If their backpacks really rip off after a week, I don’t know why do they cost so much.

Of course, there are complaints on the Internet about any company and any kind of products. But still it’s wise to take this feedback from the customers with respect.

Thirty-One Gifts Earning Potential

In order to get started, you need to buy an enrollment kit for $99. That includes 12 Thirty-One Gifts products and helps you to get started. In the system you will earn 25% of your sales.

I think it’s pretty good but it also tells how much extra these products have on their prices. It’s not very common to earn 25% commission as a salesperson of physical products. Or what do you think?

Then you will earn 2-9% from your downlines depending on how many levels lower they are on the pyrami… KRRHMM… ladder than you are. Here is a video that explains the compensation plan very thoroughly.

Warning! I don’t recommend Thirty-One Gifts. The video is embedded just to give you information about their compensation plan.

All of their most successful salespersons are women. I am not even 100% sure if a man could join their system. Anyway, if you are man, forget Thirty-One Gifts and have a look at better money-making opportunities.

A Tough Reality Behind Shiny Cover

Thirty-One Gifts may sound like an interesting money-making opportunity at first. But did you know that more than 99% of people who join this kind of MLM-programs, lose their money? That’s a report according to Federal Trade Commissions. It means that gambling or even playing the lottery is more profitable and promising.

Thirty-One Gifts has been accredited with +A-rating by Better Business Bureau. It can be a good sign but I have heard that some MLM-programs have even hired teams to get good ratings from BBB and other similar organizations (the other name for this is bribing).

In theory, you are not forced to buy their products for more than $99 when you enroll, but the reality may be different. If you want to show products to your friends in parties, it’s better that you have bought the products yourself so they can touch and feel them.

In addition, you are forced to make at least $200 in sales every 3 month or you will be put inactive. I know that this forces some distributors to buy new products themselves because they are not reaching the target but they still would like to hang in there.

After all, you are very dependent on their company and you don’t have so much freedom MLM-companies always advertise. With affiliate marketing you have a full freedom of your business. You don’t need any inventory and you can totally decide what kind of products you want to sell.

• Many of their products look nice
• The company enjoyed lots of success a few years ago
• Their purpose is to empower women

Cons:

• $99 enrollment fee
• You need to make minimum $200 sales every 3 months in order to continue
• Their products are a bit overpriced
• They have supported some abortion organizations

Conclusion – Is Thirty-One Gifts a Pyramid Scheme?

It depends on how you think about MLMs. Some people say that all MLMs are pyramid schemes. I have also heard that this kind of programs only take your money, ruin your friendships and relationships with your relatives. Well, it may be a little bit of exaggeration but sometimes that has happened with MLMs.

I think that there are much more interesting opportunities than Thirty-One Gifts.

What Is High Traffic Academy?

High Traffic Academy is a digital marketing course created by Vitaliy “Vick” Strizheus. I guess that you have heard about this guy already before on other courses like 4 Percent Group or Big Idea Mastermind. He is a very successful Internet marketer and I believe he is already a millionaire.

That gives a good ground for his courses because he has made money online himself. But as we know, if somebody is rich, it doesn’t guarantee that a course would be valuable. I have seen also many scams by successful online entrepreneurs.

High Traffic Academy has founded already in 2011 Vick has had a lot of time to develop this course already. There are different modules/sections on HTA. Here are some examples:

• Email Marketing 101
• Content Marketing 101
• Facebook Champion
• Funnel Mastery
• Landing Page Secrets
• PPC Mastery
• SEO Traffic 101
• And so on

As you can see, Vick covers lots of different strategies how you can make money online. But there are some methods that Vick highlights more than the other ones.

Vick likes the following 3-step strategy:

1.Create a Landing Page.

Create a simple but enticing web page where you have an interesting offer for visitors. You can, for example, offer a free eBook for people who give their email on the page.

2.Generate Traffic. 

Having a page doesn’t help anything if you don’t have any traffic on that. Imagine having a winter cloth store in the middle of the Sahara desert. Not many people would visit your store. But land your iPhone business on the Madison Square and I am sure that you will have lots of traffic every day.

In the online business, you need traffic in the same way like in the offline business. I will discuss further how Vick recommends you to attract traffic to your landing pages.

3.Market to Your Email List

Once you have collected emails from your landing page, you can offer them products that might be interesting for your list. Vick follows the old saying, “The money is on the list.” Many successful Internet marketers have also reported

I think this is the most important reason why I can’t recommend HTA. It provides valuable tips but the price is ridiculous. Do you remember Five Figure Freedom or Zero Hour Work Days by Brendan Mace? Both of those courses taught somehow similar money-making strategy as HTA. But the big difference is that those courses cost only around $8 while this course by Vick costs $177/month.

$177/month is an elite membership which gives you the most resources. You can also get courses individually but they are expensive as well. For example, Facebook Marketing 101 costs $397/year. Compare to Wealthy Affiliate where you get all these things for $359/year.

• The best make money online training on the Internet
• The helpful community of more than 850,000 people. (Many of those are full-time online entrepreneurs and give you very practical tips.)
• Comments for your website and blog posts
• Keyword tool
• Access to founders Kyle and Carson

• And much more

I don’t understand why somebody would prefer High Traffic Academy over Wealthy Affiliate. We can clearly see which one is better.

And That’s Not All

Vick’s products cost a lot but that’s only a beginning. He recommends PPC and other paid methods to buy traffic. So, you need to have also money for that.

I would say that if you spend $1,000 on High Traffic Academy, you would need at least $1,000-2,000 more on paid traffic also. So, in total $3,000 and there are not any guarantees that you would make any money. Of course, building a business requires investments but I think that’s a bit too much.

This reminds me of another make money online product called Dot Com Secrets X. It also teaches paid advertising to get traffic but definitely doesn’t suit for beginners.

Vick’s course suits also much better Internet marketers who already have more money and experience. If you are a total beginner with making money online, have a look here.

You can get a huge amount of traffic to your websites if you just follow the same strategy that I am using.

How Do I Drive Traffic to My Websites for Free?

I have learned how to grow traffic to my website each and every month through search engines for free. Let me give a few ideas how you can do it as well.

Growth every month

1.Provide helpful and high-quality content. I publish constantly new content on my website and my goal is always to give honest and helpful answers for our readers on how to make money online. Minimum 1,000 words per article is a good guideline.

2.Use keywords. Even though keywords are not as important as they were in the past, they still play a significant role in SEO (search engine optimization). You can use Jaaxy or Wealthy Affiliate keyword tool to find low-competition keywords for your articles.

3.Get engagement. Comments and social shares are plus and boost your Google rankings

4.Embed a video. I have also a Youtube channel and I make a new video when I think it will add value to my article.

5.Rinse and repeat. Once you see what kind of keywords and articles get ranked high, you can repeat the process. Then your traffic grows like a snowball. Remember that Google will give your site more and more authority when you publish new content regularly.

High Traffic Academy Complaints

Like with any other Internet marketing course, there are also complaints about HTA. One thing that a successful online entrepreneur pointed out was that Vick is focusing too much on maximizing and optimizing conversions rather than producing high-quality content.

I understand that point. Of course, it’s necessary to think how you could make more conversions with your online business. Because if you are not making any sales you don’t have any business. But the big focus should always be on providing high-quality content like in Wealthy Affiliate.

I also read that some people complained that they had a hard time getting their money back from HTA even though it promises at least 30-day money back guarantee on their products. I don’t know what was the exact situation there but of course, I recommend to be careful.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Lots of content
• Vick is a successful Internet marketer himself (but there’s a lot of controversy around his products)
• Tackles many different subjects like Facebook marketing, PPC, landing pages, email marketing and so on.
• Elite membership contains an autoresponder
• High Traffic Academy platform is nice and simple

Cons:

• Too expensive
• I found some complaints that it was difficult to get the money back
• Not for beginners
• You need spends lots of money on paid advertising

Conclusion – Is High Traffic Academy a Scam?

No, it’s not a scam. But on the other hand, it’s not something that I could recommend. The price of High Traffic Academy is so huge that it seems the main purpose is just to make the founder rich. You can find similar training for almost 100 times cheaper. Remember that high price doesn’t always guarantee high quality.

The idea of these tools is to make it faster and easier for you to find profitable products to promote. It’s better if you have already some experience to get the maximum potential out of this system.

Let’s have a closer look what it provides.

Launch Pulse

This software will show you new products that will be launched soon in  JVZoo, ClickBank, and Warrior+. Those are networks of thousands of different affiliate products. Most of the products are related to making money online and Internet marketing.

When you see that an interesting product will be launched soon, you can sign up to their affiliate program and get ready to promote when it’s already live. Then you are the first one who writes a review of it and gets ranked on Google when there is no competition yet.

I have seen websites that are entirely based on promoting new launches from JVZoo or Warrior+. They write 3-4 reviews every day and give a ranking 90-95 out 0f 100 to all products so visitors would buy all of their products. That’s pretty dishonest action and there isn’t a blessing in such things.

That’s why CB 100 can be a useful and a time-saving tool for you as an affiliate marketer.

King of the Zoo

This tool is somehow similar to CB100. It finds affiliate products that you could promote to make more money online. The main difference is that this tool searches products on JvZoo instead of ClickBank.

Here are the criteria that you can filter your searches:

• Sold – How many times this product has been sold
• Growth – Shows is the product popular or not
• Score – This is an internal factor of King of the Zoo that helps you to analyze how successful the product is
• Price – Product price
• Conversion % – This shows the percentage of the conversions on the sales page
• EPC’s – Earnings Per Click.

All this information will make your life easier to find products that you could promote successfully.

1 Click Affiliate

This tool is supposed to create you high-converting landing pages with only “one click”. You just need to write what is your product, how it will help your visitors and so on. Then you click “execute” and you have a landing page.

In reality, I think that these generic pages are not so effective. Even though it would take a bit more time to create a landing page, it’s worth the investment.

Anyway, 1 Click Affiliate can give you some creative ideas how you can build your landing pages and what kind of words and phrases you could use there.

eBooks and Training Videos

The videos in the members’ area walk you through how you can use each of those tools that I listed above.

Then there are also three short eBooks about YouTube SEO, Google SEO, and Email Marketing. The books are not very long and comprehensive but they go straight to the point by presenting the main ideas on how to succeed.

Maybe you remember another product from Brendan called Five Figure Freedom? In that course, Brendan teaches how you can create an email list and make money by promoting a different kind of products to people on your list.

Like in many other online products, also Zero Hour Work Days has upsells. The strategy is to give the front end product for a cheap price. When a buyer is already in a buying mode, then it’s easier to sell more expensive products. That’s what Brendan uses also. Sometimes I have criticized this strategy a lot but people use it because it works.

Upsell 1: High-converting and ready-built emails 

If you have an email list and you want to make money, you need to send emails. Writing those emails can take lots of time and effort. It can also be challenging to find out what converts better and makes more sales.

That’s why Brendan sells 40 high-converting emails that he also used himself to make big money from his list. By buying his ready-built emails, you can save a lot of time but still make a big profit. The price of this upsell is $37 but if you turn the first offer down, you will get it for $17.

Upsell 2: Pre-built landing pages

Landing pages (a web page that usually sells something) can help you to make good money. If you design it well, you will earn better than with normal blog posts. For example, everyone who visited Zero Hour Work Days homepage used more than $1,6 on average. That’s pretty good.

In the other words, for every single visitor that Brendan gets to his page, he earns +$1,6. Then 1,000 visitors means $1,600 and 10,000 visitors mean $16,000. That’s how simple making money online can be.

Is Namecheap Reliable? – Get a Name for Your Website for Less than $1!

The answer is obvious. With Namecheap, you can get the first version starting for less than $1/year.

I am very happy to share today my experiences with Namecheap and answer all your questions. When you are buying something online is always worthwhile to ask yourself, “Is Namecheap reliable?” or even a more serious question, “Is Namecheap a scam?” Is it the best place to get your own domain name?

You will find an answer to these and other questions in the next 2 minutes by having a quick look on my honest Namecheap Review.

What Is Namecheap?

Namecheap is a website and a company that provides domain names for a cheap price and with high quality  (Domain name = a name of the website, for example, YourOnlineRevenue.com). Many times if you are willing to buy cheap and good, you need to get two different products. One good and one cheap. But if we are talking about Namecheap, you get those two in the same package.

I have used their service already for a relatively long time so I am talking from experience.

You don’t want your website to look like, www.YourWebsite.Blogspot.com. It’s much better to have it like this: www.YourWebsite.com. I guess you agree?

1 year and 4 months ago I already wrote step-by-step instructions on how you can get your own domain name in Namecheap. It’s very easy and takes something like 5 minutes or a bit more if you don’t have prior experience.

Here is a video where I also give simple instructions on getting a domain name on Namecheap. I also discuss how satisfied I have been with their service.

If you want to know how you can build a high-quality website (in LESS THAN 30 SECONDS), then I recommend having a look at these simple steps.

How Does Namecheap Work?

1.You go their website and write what kind of domain name you would like to have. (see the image below)

Write your website’s name in the box.

2.Register the domain name for you. Get a domain hosting. And that’s it.

Not very complicated, huh?

When you make a search, you will see what kind of domain names are available. I searched if I could have a website called “VeryGoodDomainName.com”. Let’s see if it’s available.

These domain names are available.

As you can see in the picture above, VeryGoodDomainName.com is available for us. We could have it for €9,78/year. If someone else is faster, then we can’t have and it’s already gone. If you want to be very frugal, you can have a website name VeryGoodDomainName.club for €0,81/year.

However, I recommend that you always have .com ending. The only exception is if you are using it in a specific country, for example, Amazon.de or Amazon.co.uk. You know that these Amazon websites are country-specific so they have a different ending than .com.

.com is the most common one and it gives you the most authority. It’s also the best in the eyes of Google so it will help you to get ranked higher. Other reasonable options are .org and .net but they are not as good as .com.

How Do the Payments Work in Namecheap?

When you buy a new domain name in Namecheap, you will be billed once in a year if you agree so. Of course, it will remind you when the new payment comes closer. If you don’t, for example, need your domain name anymore you can just let it go and you will not be billed anymore.

Prices are extremely low. As you saw above, you can get a domain name for €0,81/year. That’s cool! I have paid for my high-quality domain names only around $10/year. It’s only a price of a pizza or kebab in many countries. Think about it for a moment. You can get an own name for your website only for a price of one pizza.

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express or with PayPal in Namecheap. I have always used a credit card and it has worked very well.

Did I Have Any Problems with Namecheap?

I have already used Namecheap a lot and it has always worked without a single problem. I haven’t needed to contact the support even once because everything has run so smoothly.

Is Namecheap the Best Domain Name Provider?

Even though Namecheap is very easy and I have nothing to complain, I bought the latest domain name from Wealthy Affiliate. Why? Because in my opinion, WA is the best online business service on the Internet. It’s like an all-in-one tool for building your online business.

I have my domain hosting, new domain names, training, community, keyword tool and literally everything I need to run a successful online business. Why wouldn’t you try it as well?

The best thing in WA is the price quality/ratio. It’s 100% free to get started and less than $1 per day for a yearly membership. And everything is included in that price.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• You can buy a domain name for a very cheap price (Starting from $1,88/year)
• It’s easy-to-use (even I learned to use it first time when I didn’t have any experience of domain names or websites)
• It’s reliable
• Namecheap is already 17 years old
• Many successful and reliable Internet marketers have used and recommended it

Cons:

• I have personally nothing to complain. However, I found a few negative reviews on the Internet about Namecheap.

Conclusion – Is Namecheap Reliable?

Yes, it is. I personally haven’t had any kind of problems. They have always delivered everything that I have needed for domain names. It’s also very easy to use their search tool to see if some domain name is available or not.

The only reason why I don’t rank it #1 is because Wealthy Affiliate is even better. Before I have always bought all of my domain names in Namecheap but nowadays I use WA for that.

What Is Total Funnel System?

Total Funnel System promises to teach how you can make +$1,200/day online on autopilot. It means that whether you are working or not, you will earn that money. You could be laying on the beach, playing tennis, working on another job, sleeping or doing whatever you want but still you earn the money.

It’s like you would have a whole team working for you. But now you don’t need a team when you have set up the system that makes money for you. I know that it’s possible to make such passive income online because I am earning it as well. Sometimes when I wake up and check my email, I see a notification that I have made a sale during the night. Sometimes when I am working on another job, I make sales on my online business. Have a look at my #1 recommended system how you can do it as well.

So, can you really do +$1,200/day on autopilot with Total Funnel System? Let’s have a closer look together.

How Does Total Funnel System Work?

As you can see on their website, it’s completely free to join. You don’t need to pay any monthly fee or one-time payment. You just get in for $0 and that’s it. What happens next?

The idea how Total Funnel System makes money is that it’s 100% free to join but then they promote many programs which cost something. They hope that some people will join those paid programs so the founder Jon Mroz will earn commissions. You may be familiar with this kind of marketing. Let me give you an example.

Do you Netflix, Spotify or Audible? All of them have a monthly fee for a premium membership. But they also have a free trial for 1-3 months. It costs nothing to try those services. How can they provide free months for all people? Because they know that some people will eventually continue and pay for a premium membership.

So, Total Funnel System is also completely free but they are promoting systems that cost some money. They are using a sales funnel. Let’s say that 10,000 people see their homepage. 1,000 of them sign up for a free membership. Then 100 of them will buy some systems that Jon Mroz is promoting.

Let’s say that they are making $100 per sale (which is totally realistic), they would make already $10,000 for 10,000 visitors with these calculations. Notice that this is just an example but I believe it gives you an idea how it works in practice.

Does Total Funnel System Work?

Do their methods work? Yes and no.

Inside their members’ area, they are promoting 6 programs, Empower Network, My Lead System Pro, Pure Leverage, Aweber, IPas and My Cash Freebies.

Many of those systems are at least a bit suspicious. Empower Network has received tons of complaints all around the world. My Lead System Pro and Pure Leverage are not recommended by our website because easily they just milk out all the money from you.

Aweber is probably the best one of those 6 programs and very successful Internet marketers are using it regularly to run their email marketing campaigns.

The fact that Total Funnel System is promoting suspicious systems is not a good sign for me.

How Much Should You Pay for Those Systems?

When I checked out the price, you would need pay thousands of dollars to get the access to Empower Network, My Lead System Pro, Pure Leverage, Aweber, IPas and My Cash Freebies.

And that’s not all.

Many of those programs also have a monthly membership fee which means that each and every month you need to pay even more. The monthly fee with all programs will be +$500/month. The free membership of Total Funnel System has accidentally turned into very expensive fees.

Can You Make $1,200/day with Their Teachings?

Yes, you can. Definitely. But it’s more challenging than they make you believe. In addition, these programs that Total Funnel System promotes have a quite bad reputation so I wouldn’t recommend using them.

I am making constant money online but I know that it required work. When I started, I thought that I’ll just do a few things and money starts flowing into my accounts through my websites. Oh, how wrong I was.

But I can say that the work is worth it. During the process, I have learned lots of new things and it’s very interesting to see the progress. In order to make big money online, you need to have a legitimate system and persistence.

Pros & Cons of Total Funnel System

Pros:

• It’s totally free to join
• They are using affiliate marketing to make money online.

Cons:

• They promote some suspicious systems
• Teachings are not entirely free
• If you buy their programs, you will end up paying thousands of dollars and much more in monthly memberships

Conclusion – Is Total Funnel System a Scam?

No, it’s not a scam. Of course, it’s a bit misleading to say that their program is free because eventually you will need to pay if you buy the programs that he is recommending. Jon Mroz (the founder of Total Funnel System) is for sure a successful affiliate marketer but I think that his program is not the best on the Internet.

If you are interested in making money online, my #1 recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate. I know many people who have joined their program and after a while have quit their 9-5 job because they are already making money on the Internet.

They have a step-by-step training on how you can create your own online business even without any prior knowledge. Actually, one of my friends started with 0 knowledge in WA and after 2 years he was already making +$10,000/month.

What Is Millionaire Society?

Millionaire Society is a system created by a guy (Brad Marshall?) who is telling you that he makes $262,800/year online. That equals to more than $20,000/month. And the most interesting part is that he said it only takes 15 minutes to create that kind of money-making system.

Of course, Brad tells that it took 2 years for him to figure out this system but now you can make it in 15 minutes. Then he says that you should always avoid online scams. And then he is marketing a scam himself? Yes.

In my opinion, Brad (or whatever his name really is) is using very dirty marketing strategies. He tells that he’s a regular 30-year-old guy with two kids and a wife. That kind of guy anybody would trust, right? Well, have a look at the claim below.

Brad says that you can create a $262,800/year autopilot business in 15 minutes. Should I laugh or cry?

$262,800/year in 15 Minutes? True Or False.

I have relatively lots of experience of Internet marketing. I have reviewed more than 200 products and I must admit that a big part of those “make money online” programs give huge promises but they fail to deliver. Of course, it’s easy to say that you can earn $262,800/year but another thing is to show it in action.

I can honestly say that these 5 friends are earning +$10,000/month online but I know that they didn’t achieve it in 15 minutes. It took lots of hard work and effort. Now when they have achieved that level it’s quite easy to maintain and the business could run more or less on the autopilot. But to achieve that kind of income takes effort. You will also need a great step-by-step training on how to achieve it.

One of the most common scam signs is when somebody tells you: You will earn lots of money easily without lifting a finger. Actually, it happened to me that I earned +2,000€ with bitcoins without lifting my finger and some of my friends made tens of thousands of euros. But it’s a totally different story what these scam artists are selling to you.

Why Do I Know That Millionaire Society Is a Scam?

As I mentioned above, I have reviewed more than 200 make money programs and seen even more. I have trained my eyes to spot a scam. Here are some reasons why I know it’s a scam:

1.Lots of negative reviews of this program.
2.His promises are not true
3.Many people have claimed that he is using fake names, fake videos, fake testimonials and so on.

After all, there isn’t a single reason why would I spend my time on this system. Even though the founder is advertising that you can get it for free, you have to pay around $5 for a 7-day free trial. Right away after that, you will be billed $97 each and every month which counts up to $1,200/year.

The result will be that you end up much poorer than before having this program. That’s what happens with most online scams. I have heard about guys who spent even $25,000 on online scams. That may sound incredible but think about this.

First, they buy the front-end products for $5. Then they pay $97/month “just to check this out”. They realize that if they want to earn their money back, they need to continue further. Then they keep on running on other scams over and over again. Gladly, there are also more legitimate programs that teach you real skills.

Yes, it is. Brad doesn’t even clearly explain in his +10-minute how his system works in a real life. He just keeps on explaining how this is so amazing and will make you rich by pushing a button and so on. Why wouldn’t he just quickly want to explain a few steps what is his program all about? Because it seems like a scam.

There are too many red flags for me so I find it better to stay away from it.

YouCaring is a crowdfunding platform where you can either support or fund worthwhile projects. Most of the projects are related to medical treatments, sicknesses or funerals but there are also many other kind of projects.

YouCaring was founded back in 2011 by Luke Miner, Brock Ketcher and  Naomi Ketcher after they came back home from a mission trip. They figured out that why wouldn’t they harness today’s technology for something good and positive for the world.

I really like the idea of YouCaring. Through their platform people are supporting many worthy projects and I believe that even many lives have been changes because of their website. And imagine the huge money that has been transferred: +$550,000,000! Imagine how many medical treatments people have been able to buy with this money.

What Kind of Projects Can You Start/Support?

You can support or start almost any kind of project you want on YouCaring

Above you can see a big list of different kind of projects that you can support or start. YouCaring is a very powerful platform for fundraising. You can find projects that have raised tens of thousands of dollars. And I saw that some projects raised even around $200,000.

In most jobs it would take years to earn $200,000 but in YouCaring you can earn it quickly if you have a worthy project that people want to support. Little on their website scrolling reveals that most of the projects are created against sicknesses. Somebody has got a cancer diagnosis and now he needs to money so he can pay his treatments against the cancer.

There are also several projects to fund studies at schools. In many countries one most pay expensive fees in order to have a formal education. In my home country Finland education is totally free for students and actually the government pays you some money for studying. It’s very different system than in the U.S.A., for example.

How to Create Project on YouCaring?

Creating a new project (Fundraiser) on YouCaring is free, very simple and easy. You can sign up by using your email or Facebook accounts. Signing up takes maximum 30 seconds.

Then you are ready to create your projects. Do the following things:

1.Set a goal. How much money you want to raise and what is the purpose? You can always change your monetary goal afterwards. Then set a deadline. When people see a deadline they are more willing to support you because they feel the sense of urgency.

2.Create a headline and description. Make up an enticing headline that will attract people to your page. Then describe clearly and honestly what is your projects all about. Why do you want to raise money and why people would like to support you?

3.Upload photos (and videos). High-quality pictures will more likely attract people to support your project. YouCaring also recommends you to attract several pictures instead of only one because then people will have a more broad view of what your project is all about.

After all, videos are the most effective and impactful way to communicate with your potential supporters. That’s why a video will most likely help you to raise even more money.

4.Share your project on social media. YouCaring has social media buttons that easily enable you to share your page on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and email. They also advertise that each share on FB can help you to raise $37 more.

5.Update your project regularly. Add new pictures or videos how your project is moving forward. Share those updates on social medias so people are aware of the process and can support you even more.  You can always change your goal if it seems to be too high or low. Remember that even though you don’t reach your goal, you will be able to keep the money that has been given to you.

When the project is over, you will get the money through PayPal or WePay.

Are There Fees on YouCaring?

Now we come to a very interesting part. Most crowdfunding platforms charge you a high fee for each donation. For example, Patreon and GoFundMe both take aroudn 10% before they pay you the donation. YouCaring doesn’t take any fees and running a fundraising project is completely free.

There are some fees for the Paypal transfer. Usually it’s 2.9% + $.30 credit card processing fee. Anyway, this fee is much smaller than in many other crowdfunding platforms.

How does YouCaring fund themselves?

When you give a donation, there is also a possibility to support YouCaring. You can donate something for them as well. It’s $0,00 by default but many people decide to give something also for the website because it’s quite useful.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Crowdfunding for good purposes is a wonderful idea
• Already more than $550,000,000 have been raised throughout the years.
• I think that many lives has been saved because of YouCaring
• It’s very easy and free to get started
• You don’t need  to pay fees for using YouCaring
• It’s easy to share your projects on Facebook and on other social medias
• You can keep the money even though you wouldn’t reach your goal

Cons:

• There are some complaints of the slow support. (But this is common to almost any online platform.)
• Getting visibility may be challenging if you don’t have any former experience (keep on going and you will make it)

Conclusion – Is YouCaring a Scam?

No it’s not. YouCaring is the best crowdfunding platform that I have seen so far. It’s helping many worthy projects and they are not charging high fees like many other crowdfunding companies. If you have an interesting project that you would like to fund, I recommend considering YouCaring.

On their website, there are also many tips on how to succeed as a fundraiser. Before starting I would read them through and put the into action in order to get the most out of your project.

Is Coinbase Safe to Use? – Yes, It Is According to My Experience

This is probably one of the most important questions to ask. When we are talking about our money, we really hope that they are safe and that nobody will steal them. We work long hours and if our money would suddenly disappear because of a scam, it would be quite disappointing even if money is not the most important thing (or even close) in life.

I must admit that exchange fees are a bit higher in Coinbase compared some other Bitcoin exchanges. That’s why it works better for long-term investing rather than for short-term trading. They give also a bonus of $10 when you make your first $100 deposit which naturally compensates a bit higher exchange fee.

The exchange fee depends on which country you are living. For example, in the US, and in Europe a fee for buying/selling bitcoins is 1,5%. But their bonus naturally compensates a high fee. I recommend that you buy bitcoins and hold them for a longer time.

Short-term trading is speculation anyway but long-term prospects of Bitcoin look very promising.
