The company mainly targets to recruit college students for their sales force. It reaches potential sales representatives via

Sales representatives are independent contractors and not employees of the company. Recruits generally make most of their sales to their friends, friends of friends and family members. 

Most of the selling is done via referrals. The company promises a guaranteed base pay when you present Cutco products to qualified potential customers and additional income from sales commissions.

Vector Marketing continues to be the subject of heated arguments online, even offline and there have been some lawsuits filed against the company . Some people believe that this company presents a genuine opportunity to make some good money, while others think it is a terrible business that should be completely avoided.

The guaranteed base pay from presentations to qualified potential customers is independent of the representative’s sales. Vector Marketing claims that you get paid even if the customers you make the presentations to do not purchase anything.

They say this is made possible by the high success rates of Cutco products which lead to most customers buying at least one piece of cutlery. However, it's just one of their tricks to try to lure new members to the system.

Looking at the above requirements, you might think that making money on Stream Energy is easy and straightforward. However, the process is harder than you think.

Basing on the feedbacks that I have gotten from people who have tried working with the company, they claim that it takes a long time to establish yourself on the platform. Avisae is another MLM company that specializes in beauty and nutrition products using a business model that promises you can be your own boss. There’s an incentive to represent the company, but you have to purchase your own business package for it which is just more money out of your pocket. Plus, you have to sell a certain amount each month to remain as an active member. You can forfeit your commissions if you don’t sell enough.

The difficult sales quotas and punishment systems make Avisae pretty hard to get into. It’s hard to work from home, and there are fees on top of fees. While some people may have earned profit from this company, it is mostly just a pyramid scheme and a scam that will steal from your wallet.

As you may predict, Avisae relies heavily on the recruitment of sales people, which is where they earn most of their profits. Like most MLM schemes, they seek to simply profit off of the hard work of others, making it more and more difficult for an average work-from-home salesperson to get started selling their products.

Take a further look at our review as we highlight some of the products, starter kits, and compensation plans that Avisae mentions as a company.

It was quite difficult to find any information about the founding of this company. The owners seem to hide any useful information quite well, leading first-time customers to an immediate sign-up and purchasing page. This is the first of many red flags that will hint towards Avisae being a scam company.

After a bit of research, we were able to find out that Avisae is a company founded in 2013 by two men, Brooks Yates and Brent Ririe, who wanted to launch a healthy and nutritional product line that would offer business opportunities to people across the nation.

They were founded in Murray, Utah, which is the home state to many of the scam-worthy MLM companies. Some of the Avisae brands include Optimall Nutrition and Love Your Gut, which aim to promote weight loss and better eating habits. They also have skincare products and other associated beauty products. 

The company claims that everything they sell is gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, nut-free, artificial color-free, soy-free, vegan, and made in the USA. That may be a mouthful of words, with very little evidence to prove whether these products are actually nutritious for the body.

Most of the products sold by Avisae include weight loss vitamins, powders, and enzymes. They can be purchased in packages at varying price ranges for interested customers and representatives. Avisae works on an MLM and IBO (Independent Business Owner) system to get customers to become representatives that meet sales quotas every month.

There is a starter kit available, and while it isn’t too expensive, it comes with some requirements that you must sell the products. And with the starter kit, you don’t get a choice of what kind of products you want to begin with. You will automatically get set up with a line of beauty products, which are not always the fastest-selling among the list of Avisae products.

Many former customers and representatives also find it a bit unethical that they can so easily start selling those kind of beauty products. Should you be able to promote nutrition on a professional level if you haven’t had to go through any training, qualifications, or experience to do so? It can be a tough decision for some, and the additional strain on expenditures certainly doesn’t help.

We want to point out that it’s also very difficult to compete on the MLM market with this kind of product. We feel that beauty products are the most common and basic products sold by independent business owners. Think of brands like Avon, Rodan & Fields, Mary Kay, and Arbonne; they all sell beauty products.

The starter kit itself only comes with marketing materials and random products. This isn’t much to go on, and a potential rep can’t really profit off of this. It costs $49, which is essentially just the price of the enrollment fee. You are also prompted to buy an Elite Business Builder package, which costs $1300.

There are many requirements you have to meet in order to remain in the system. You can either generate 150 PBV every month for your sales, or you have to buy 100 BPV of products on a monthly basis.

You’re either paying the monthly auto-ship 12 times a year, or you just forfeit your commissions altogether. This makes Avisae appear to be a shady MLM for some people.

Avisae is not an illegal pyramid scheme. They have been operating more than 5 years and they provide real products that provide value.

That being said, you need to keep in mind that recruiting plays a big role in any network marketing/MLM company. If you want to make big money, you must climb the pyramid ladder all the way to the top.

Some people find it quite controversial while other people don't have any problem with the nature of multi-level marketing. It's of course up to you to decide whether or not network marketing is ethically correct.

Personally, I am not a big fan of network marketing. One of the main reasons is that they are often selling overpriced products just to give bigger profits for the members.

The ranking position available in the company, and which structure the way you earn money from the system is as follows:

• Direct Distributor: 

When you attain this position, you will earn up to 25% commission for every product that you sell. Furthermore, you are required to refer more customers to the website, and when these people buy, you earn money.

The second level is the team volume sales. For those that have reached the senior distributor position in the company, you will earn money from any sales made by your referrals. As you advance, you earn more money whenever a member of your team makes sales.

• Senior Distributor: 

when you attain this position, you are entitled to 5 percent from sales made by the team you belonged. Before you qualify for this level, you will reach up to five hundred personal volumes, and you will generate one hundred personal volumes for every month. This is the way you can retain your qualification.

• Executive Distributor: 

When you reach this position, you are qualified to keep ten percent of sales made by your group. However, there is a requirement you will keep before you qualify for this position. To qualify, you must meet at least 5000 personal group volumes. In addition to that, you need 100 personal volumes for you to keep that membership at that level.

• Bronze Distributor:

Atomy is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company that sells various products in health & personal care categories. While the company might at first seem like a very legitimate service provider, there are still some people who call it a scam or a pyramid scheme.

Part of the controversy around Atomy is quickly explained by the nature of the business. Some people can't stand network marketing while some people love it.

The consumer market is packed with several programs that aim to help you health & wellness products using multi-level marketing. Atomy program might seem like a relatively new startup, that is experimenting with various avenues of making a profit and attracting clients.

However, Atomy has been around already since 2009 since it was founded by a South Korean man called Han-Gill Park!

Distributors of Atomy claim you that it's a suitable business opportunity for novice entrepreneurs to start sharpen your business skills and make a life-changing income, while at the same time +95% of the new members fail without making any money with the network marketing companies like Atomy. The atomy MLM business opportynity aims to attract unsuspecting individuals who are still new to MLM as a business venture. While they may seem to have several reasonable product categories and money-making schemes, new members often fail to help anyone make a profit unless you know what you are doing or follow this guide.

In order to receive the commission, distributors often have to achieve a specific PV level, based on purchases which are paid in relation to various other factors. More so, the general commission for any distributor at the platform averages at 4%, whereby each member receives information every week.

Besides that, there is also a multi-matching bonus, which makes up for 2% of the general commission level, but only reserved for the qualified members of the company. Additionally, each mastership is also available with a specific monthly cash bonus, with percentages that decrease as you earn.

There are also bonuses, that are offered to you once you achieve the `sales master` level. This then allows you to open your unique Atomy centre, at specific locations and to instruct new members to sell new products. That being said, it is good to acknowledge that moving up in the ranking and making big money will also require lots of effort from you.

According to the Atomy and even to their own website, once all your PV points are calculated, the final results are then forwarded to the head of finances and the business for review. Once the amount is cleared, the amount is then forwarded to the preferred payment method that was chosen by the individual. However, some users have sometimes complained about receiving inconsistent payments and commission in relation to what is expected.

Take Shape for Life was founded back in 2002/2003 but nowadays it was rebranded in 2016/2017 and nowadays it goes with the name Optavia. If you, for example, try to search anymore for an official Take Shape for Life homepage, you will be directed to Optavia Llc.

Simply put, it's the same company but they are now using a little bit different branding.

The major difference between Take Shape for Life and Optavia is that Take Shape for Life was part of another company called Medifast. That company was founded already a couple of decades ago in 1980.

But Optavia is now an independent company and not part of Medifast.

Anyway, Optavia is a company with a long background and some leaders have been around already for a long time within the company.

• Fact #2: Optavia Products - Meal Replacements

Optavia is supporting a healthy lifestyle. They help people to lose weight and achieve a healthier life. Therefore, they are selling meal replacements.

You have probably heard of meal replacements before and they are for example:

• Nutritional Shakes
• Soups
• Bars
• Healthy Pancakes 
• Etc.

Their meal replacements are supposed to help you and their customers to achieve the health goals. I don't personally use Optavia products but I use protein shakes regularly.

I know from my own and other people's experience that protein shakes can be a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle in an active life. If you are on-the-go and you quickly need some calories, it's much better to drink a protein shake than grab a burger at the nearest McDonald's, right? 😉

Optavia doesn't only provide you with the meal replacement products but also with the coaching & community. A big part of the successful weight loss is 

• Fact #3: Business Model - Multi-Level Marketing

Optavia uses the multi-level marketing business model that is also known as network marketing, MLM or direct selling.

Overall, network marketing companies have a pretty controversial reputation. Some people love them while others would never want to join them.

You can't directly purchase network marketing products in your local supermarket or Walmart but you need to buy from their promoters, also known as distributors.

Recruiting new promoters to the system plays always a big role in the network marketing companies as I will explain you in a moment...

However, Multi-Level Marketing does NOT mean that a company would be a complete scam.

There are companies like Tupperware, Oriflame and other ones that have been around for decades and they've provided real value for millions of people all over the world. We still have some Tupperware products in our kitchen that my grandmother bought decades ago.

My grandma has died but those products last still...

Anyway, I am not here to promote Tupperware but I want to make a point that all MLM-companies are not scams even though some of them are.

Optavia is not a scam nor a pyramid scheme either. Let me explain you their system more in detail...

If you are considering joining Optavia, you are probably wondering how will you make money with it and how much can you possibly earn with it.

Those are legitimate questions and I am going to give you more details in this chapter.

There are two primary ways to make money with Optavia.

Once you purchase that starter kit you will officially become a health Coach in Optavia. As you can see, there are no special requirements for Optavia health coaches so I recommend taking that into account if you're listening to their health advice.

Even though Optavia is not a pyramid scheme, the only way to make a huge income with the company, is to recruit tons of people to your downline and start leading the team.

As you climb up in the ranking, you will get more bonuses and rewards. The higher you climb, and the more people you recruit to your downline the more money you will earn.

That's also how pretty much all similar network marketing companies operate.

If you get your body healthy, it's also easier to get your life in order and become successful. Therefore, I share a common goal with Optavia that is promoting health and fitness in making this world a little bit healthier place.

• #3 - 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Optavia provides for their meal replacement products 30 day money-back guarantee which gives security for their clients. If you don't like their products for any reason, you will get a refund.

This of course a positive thing and it's also shows that Optavia believes in their own products because they are willing to give you a refund if you're not satisfied.

CONS:

• #1 - Expensive Products

This is pretty typical for multi-level marketing companies in the health and wellness industry.

They often have overpriced products so they are able to pay better commissions to their promoters. However, expensive products are one of the main reasons why I am not a big fan of Optavia.

Of course, they claim that they have the best products in the industry but that's also what all the other companies are saying.

In the image below, you can have a look at some of their product kit prices. You can see that the 30-day kit costs more than $350.

I noticed that many people were searching on Google, "Is Optavia a pyramid scheme?" The answer is: NO, Optavia is NOT a pyramid scheme.

I've seen that network marketing companies like Optavia are often related to the pyramid schemes because their compensation plan forms a pyramid.

However, an illegal pyramid scheme is a system that does not provide real products and value to their customers. Optavia is not like that because they have real products and the system is not only based on recruiting new members.

In addition, the company has a long history and if it would be an illegal pyramid scheme, it would have been shut down already a long time ago.

Based in Arizona, Seacret was formed in 2005 by Israeli brothers Izhak, Ben Shabat and Moty Ben Shabat. They manufacture all of their products in a large plant located in Israel.
