If you want to be really successful, you must intensify efforts to recruit more people to join the network. This is one very common thing with MLMs and Nikken is not different from that. Your rank depends on your down line team, as well as your sales performance.

When you register with the company and make a purchase of the starter kit at the cost of $99, you will be eligible for 25% commissions.

As a beginner, you are not entitled to any bonuses. As a new member, your hope of advancing depends on the number of people you recruited to the system. This means that you must start recruiting people to enhance your chances of advancing in the network.

The ranking position available in the company, and which structure the way you earn money from the system is as follows:

• Direct Distributor: 

When you attain this position, you will earn up to 25% commission for every product that you sell. Furthermore, you are required to refer more customers to the website, and when these people buy, you earn money.

The second level is the team volume sales. For those that have reached the senior distributor position in the company, you will earn money from any sales made by your referrals. As you advance, you earn more money whenever a member of your team makes sales.

• Senior Distributor: 

when you attain this position, you are entitled to 5 percent from sales made by the team you belonged. Before you qualify for this level, you will reach up to five hundred personal volumes, and you will generate one hundred personal volumes for every month. This is the way you can retain your qualification.

• Executive Distributor: 

When you reach this position, you are qualified to keep ten percent of sales made by your group. However, there is a requirement you will keep before you qualify for this position. To qualify, you must meet at least 5000 personal group volumes. In addition to that, you need 100 personal volumes for you to keep that membership at that level.

• Bronze Distributor: 

Bronze distributor: when you reach this rank, you can keep 15 percent of sales of your team. There is a requirement you must meet to satisfy that position and it includes generating a personal group volume of 10000, as well as 100 PV to keep that position.

• Silver Distributor: 

You will take home 20 percent from sales made by your team. To attain that position, you require 20000 PGV as well as 100 PV to reach and to keep that position.

Atomy is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company that sells various products in health & personal care categories. While the company might at first seem like a very legitimate service provider, there are still some people who call it a scam or a pyramid scheme.

Part of the controversy around Atomy is quickly explained by the nature of the business. Some people can't stand network marketing while some people love it.

The consumer market is packed with several programs that aim to help you health & wellness products using multi-level marketing. Atomy program might seem like a relatively new startup, that is experimenting with various avenues of making a profit and attracting clients.

However, Atomy has been around already since 2009 since it was founded by a South Korean man called Han-Gill Park!

Distributors of Atomy claim you that it's a suitable business opportunity for novice entrepreneurs to start sharpen your business skills and make a life-changing income, while at the same time +95% of the new members fail without making any money with the network marketing companies like Atomy. If you are already an experienced network marketer, you can make big money with Atomy or basically with any other MLM-company.

Several Atomy reviews online tout that the company consists of various negative aspects, which can cause concern (more on these aspects further...) Besides that, they also have a quite poorly developed website interface, whereby some features of the site are not well structured.

Considering that Atomy is already a relatively big company I would assume that they would have a better website. Who knows if they are currently updating it..?

The atomy MLM business opportynity aims to attract unsuspecting individuals who are still new to MLM as a business venture. While they may seem to have several reasonable product categories and money-making schemes, new members often fail to help anyone make a profit unless you know what you are doing or follow this guide.

In order to receive the commission, distributors often have to achieve a specific PV level, based on purchases which are paid in relation to various other factors. More so, the general commission for any distributor at the platform averages at 4%, whereby each member receives information every week.

Besides that, there is also a multi-matching bonus, which makes up for 2% of the general commission level, but only reserved for the qualified members of the company. Additionally, each mastership is also available with a specific monthly cash bonus, with percentages that decrease as you earn.

There are also bonuses, that are offered to you once you achieve the `sales master` level. This then allows you to open your unique Atomy centre, at specific locations and to instruct new members to sell new products. That being said, it is good to acknowledge that moving up in the ranking and making big money will also require lots of effort from you.

According to the Atomy and even to their own website, once all your PV points are calculated, the final results are then forwarded to the head of finances and the business for review. Once the amount is cleared, the amount is then forwarded to the preferred payment method that was chosen by the individual. However, some users have sometimes complained about receiving inconsistent payments and commission in relation to what is expected.

Simply put, it's the same company but they are now using a little bit different branding.

The major difference between Take Shape for Life and Optavia is that Take Shape for Life was part of another company called Medifast. That company was founded already a couple of decades ago in 1980.

But Optavia is now an independent company and not part of Medifast.

Anyway, Optavia is a company with a long background and some leaders have been around already for a long time within the company.

• Fact #2: Optavia Products - Meal Replacements

Optavia is supporting a healthy lifestyle. They help people to lose weight and achieve a healthier life. Therefore, they are selling meal replacements.

You have probably heard of meal replacements before and they are for example:

• Nutritional Shakes
• Soups
• Bars
• Healthy Pancakes 
• Etc.

Their meal replacements are supposed to help you and their customers to achieve the health goals. I don't personally use Optavia products but I use protein shakes regularly.

I know from my own and other people's experience that protein shakes can be a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle in an active life. If you are on-the-go and you quickly need some calories, it's much better to drink a protein shake than grab a burger at the nearest McDonald's, right? 😉

Optavia doesn't only provide you with the meal replacement products but also with the coaching & community. A big part of the successful weight loss is 

• Fact #3: Business Model - Multi-Level Marketing

Optavia uses the multi-level marketing business model that is also known as network marketing, MLM or direct selling.

Overall, network marketing companies have a pretty controversial reputation. Some people love them while others would never want to join them.

You can't directly purchase network marketing products in your local supermarket or Walmart but you need to buy from their promoters, also known as distributors.

Recruiting new promoters to the system plays always a big role in the network marketing companies as I will explain you in a moment...

However, Multi-Level Marketing does NOT mean that a company would be a complete scam.

There are companies like Tupperware, Oriflame and other ones that have been around for decades and they've provided real value for millions of people all over the world. We still have some Tupperware products in our kitchen that my grandmother bought decades ago.

My grandma has died but those products last still...

Anyway, I am not here to promote Tupperware but I want to make a point that all MLM-companies are not scams even though some of them are.

Optavia is not a scam nor a pyramid scheme either. Let me explain you their system more in detail...

If you are considering joining Optavia, you are probably wondering how will you make money with it and how much can you possibly earn with it.

Those are legitimate questions and I am going to give you more details in this chapter.

There are two primary ways to make money with Optavia.

1. Health Coach Income = Selling/promoting their products to other people.
2. Business Coach Income = Recruiting new distributors to your downline.

Even though Optavia is not a pyramid scheme, the only way to make a huge income with the company, is to recruit tons of people to your downline and start leading the team.

As you climb up in the ranking, you will get more bonuses and rewards. The higher you climb, and the more people you recruit to your downline the more money you will earn.

That's also how pretty much all similar network marketing companies operate.

• #3 - 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Optavia provides for their meal replacement products 30 day money-back guarantee which gives security for their clients. If you don't like their products for any reason, you will get a refund.

This of course a positive thing and it's also shows that Optavia believes in their own products because they are willing to give you a refund if you're not satisfied.

CONS:

• #1 - Expensive Products

This is pretty typical for multi-level marketing companies in the health and wellness industry.

They often have overpriced products so they are able to pay better commissions to their promoters. However, expensive products are one of the main reasons why I am not a big fan of Optavia.

Of course, they claim that they have the best products in the industry but that's also what all the other companies are saying.

In the image below, you can have a look at some of their product kit prices. You can see that the 30-day kit costs more than $350.

I noticed that many people were searching on Google, "Is Optavia a pyramid scheme?" The answer is: NO, Optavia is NOT a pyramid scheme.

I've seen that network marketing companies like Optavia are often related to the pyramid schemes because their compensation plan forms a pyramid.

However, an illegal pyramid scheme is a system that does not provide real products and value to their customers. Optavia is not like that because they have real products and the system is not only based on recruiting new members.

In addition, the company has a long history and if it would be an illegal pyramid scheme, it would have been shut down already a long time ago.

However, there are some offers on the site where you may have to spend money, such as signing up for subscriptions. There may also be free trials that you can sign up for which require you to enter your card details.

You will need to remember to cancel these trials before they expire to avoid being charged. You may not be able to reach some of the higher levels on free offers alone as they are generally not worth many credits.

• You need to recruit / refer lots of people to earn any money
• Low earning potential compared to better make money online opportunities
• Not a comprehensive training available on acquiring referrals (They provide some tips & templates but I think it's not very comprehensive)
