Most of the ”make money online” -programs are not free. You need to invest a little bit in order to buy a program. Then many people ask, “Can I make money online without spending any money.”

The short answer to this question is, yes definitely. I made thousands of euros online in a short period of time without investing a single penny. And I know other people who have made it too.

But nowadays I have realized that it’s not always wise to try to make money online “for free”. Sometimes with a little investment, you can speed up the process a lot. Let’s say that you put $100 and get back $1,000. Isn’t that a good investment?

Today I am going to give you a few ways you could make money online without spending any money but I will also explain why it’s probably not the wisest and the fastest way.

Let’s start with the classical and the easiest way of making some money online for free.

1.Survey and “Get-Paid-To” Sites

This is probably the easiest way to make some dollars online without any investments. Anybody can do this and earn easily some money.

The idea of these sites is that you answer surveys and do little tasks and then the company pays you a little reward. Those little tasks are for example:

• Play games
• Download a mobile app
• Watch short ads
• Answer surveys
• And so on.

One very common way to make a living online is by playing online poker. I have a few friends that have played professionally and earned a full-time income with poker. Many years ago, I made also very good money online poker this but then I stopped playing. Why?

Because I didn’t like the idea that somebody is losing money when I’m winning. I didn’t like the values of the poker world: Money, money, money. It can be hard for you to understand but I am a Christian and I want to help people rather than taking their money.

If you think about typical casinos, what comes to your mind? Drinking, gambling and other sinful things. I didn’t like that idea so I stopped playing even though I was making a good income. I threw all my poker books into a trash can and decided that I will focus my energy on helping other people rather than taking their money on the poker table.

Afterward, I realized it was a very good choice. I really want to maintain a clean conscience before God. If I would play poker professionally, I wouldn’t have a clean conscience.

You can create a website in 30 seconds without former experience with WordPress. You don’t need any programming skills. You can just choose what kind of site you want, then make click a few times and your site is ready. Did you know that more than 25% of all websites on the Internet are made by WordPress?

When you have a website you can make money by several ways. Here are some examples:

• Google AdSense
• Affiliate Marketing
• Selling your own products

If you want to have your own products, then you probably need to spend some money. If you are doing affiliate marketing, you don’t need to care about shipping, difficult customers etc. Simply said, you are just promoting other people’s products and earning commissions.

This can be a surprisingly profitable way and some successful affiliate marketers are making even millions of dollars every year!

However, if you start your website with $0, then your website’s name will look like xxxxxx.Siterubix.com or xxxxxxx.Wordpress.com. In my opinion, that’s not very professional. What if my website would be YourOnlineRevenue.wordpress.com? It wouldn’t look very convincing, huh?

That’s why I would recommend investing some money on buying your own domain and getting a domain hosting. Then your website will look like xxxxxxxxx.com. Like my website is for example YourOnlineRevenue.com. But of course, you can start with a free site like MyWebsite.Siterubix.com and later on change it to your own domain: “MyWebsite.com”

4.Freelancer Jobs

You can do lots of things online as a freelancer. You can be for example:

• Writer
• Website designer
• Advertiser
• SEO-Expert
• Much more.

You can actually do a living with these freelancing jobs. Especially if you are living in a cheap country and earning dollars online. Probably one the most famous places to find freelancing jobs online is Fiverr.

I have hired people from Fiverr and so far the price/quality -ratio has been very good. What are your special skills? Maybe you could also sell your skills on Fiverr? If you don’t have any special skills yet to make money online, there is a step-by-step training for you.

Today we are I am going to give you my personal review on my #1 recommendation for a brokerage firm.

What is Nordnet Bank?

Nordnet Bank AB is a Nordic online bank and stock broker that provides service in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The company is founded in Sweden in 1996 and today it’s biggest brokerage firm in Nordic countries. Nowadays they have more than 500,000 clients.

Is Investing Risky? That’s What I Thought Before.

I thought before that investing is risky, it’s only for greedy people and that I shouldn’t be doing that. Then I talked with one of my good friends, read several books, blog articles and teaching videos about investing. I realized that my beliefs were false.

Of course, there are many strategies for stock market investing but anyone can be profitable by buying and holding a well-diversified portfolio. Buy and hold a reliable fund for 15€/month and you are already a profitable investor. It won’t make you rich but the more money you have, the more you will earn. Why Nordnet?

There are many brokerage firms and banks out there where you could buy stocks, bonds, mutual funds and other investing products. When I was looking for a right one I was most interested in the companies that have low fees.

I saw that some banks take fees even for keeping your stocks. Some had lower prices when trading stocks and some had higher. Then I found Nordnet.

Their buying/selling fees are low, they don’t have any fees for maintaining the stocks and in addition, they have some funds with 0% administrative fees. Normally funds have 1,5-3% administrative fees which eventually take a big part of your profits but a fund with 0% fees is amazing.

Why have they that kind of fund?

Superfunds in Nordnet

Nordnet’s so-called “SuperFunds” take 0€ administrative fees. You read right. 0€. 0%. Zero!

They are not earning anything with that fund but the idea behind it is to get more clients. They believe that people will eventually their other service which will bring money in. With those funds, they are actually losing some money but they have calculated that it’s profitable for them because many clients buy their other products.

For example, I bought only shares of Superfunds in the beginning but after a while ended up buying other stocks which benefit Nordnet because they earn some administrative fees.

There are 4 Superfunds:

• Finland’s Superfund
• Norway’s Superfund
• Sweden’s Superfund
• Denmark’s Superfund

All funds make up a well-diversified portfolio. For example, Finland’s Superfund consists of the biggest companies from Finland: Sampo, Kone, Nokia, UPM-Kymmene etc. Superfunds are literally GREAT!

Prices in Nordnet

As I mentioned before, they don’t take any monthly fees for maintaining your money.

Trading fees depend on how much you have been trading in the last month. The lowest level is 0,06%/Min.3€ and the highest level is 0,20%/Min.9€. It means that in the lowest level you have to pay at least 3 euros per trade or 0,06% per trade.

As you can see, the more you trade, the lower price you will have. Even though you wouldn’t trade a lot of fees are not very high. With 0 trades/month, your trading fee is 0,20%/Min.9€. I don’t trade stocks almost at all because I use “buy and hold” -strategy and I am satisfied with Nordnet’s prices.

Prices are a little different depending on which country you are buying and selling stocks but you will find all their prices on their website.

Nordnet’s Investing Training

Nordnet provides many kinds of training that teaches you some principles about investing to the stock market. They have blogs, podcasts, expert articles, and webinars.

I have used all of their content and it has been mostly very informative. Some expert articles can give good insights even for very experienced investors. But be aware that all their thoughts are just opinions and you must never 100% rely on someone’s opinion. You make investment choices. You take the responsibility.

Their webinars teach for example following subjects

• How compound interest works
• What do different numbers (e.g. P/e) mean
• How much tax you must pay
• How to get started
• and much more.

My Final Opinion on Nordnet

If you live in Nordic countries and you are interested in investing, I can recommend Nordnet for you based on my own experiences. I have never had any problems with their website, customer service or with anything.

I am going to buy a new smartphone very soon and I am planning to pay approximately $200. Before buying, I want to know which one of the $200 phones is the best.

I will write in Google “What is the best smartphone for $200”. Then I will read some reviews of $200 phones and decide which one I will buy.

Let’s imagine that you had written the review about Huawei Honor 5X and your text convinces me, so I decide to buy it. I click your link at the end of your review and order my new Huawei Honor 5X.

Guess who earns the commission? You!

Don’t think that it would be too complicated to put the links. For example, if you click that link “Huawei Honor 5X above and end up buying anything from Amazon, I earn the commission.

“Can I Write the Reviews of the Products That I didn’t Buy?”

Yes you can!

This can be surprising but it’s true. For example, I didn’t buy Mobile Monopoly 2 but I still wrote a review about it. How is it possible?

I made the little research and saw that the product is not worth buying because I saw many people’s bad experiences with the product. If I am not willing to buy it I definitely don’t recommend it to you.

Still my review can be very useful for you. You don’t need to make the same research as I did. You don’t need to use many hours on the Internet studying people’s experiences with this product because I made it for you.

The same applies to the reviews that you can write. You can search people’s experiences about the products and then write the review and make money.

You Can Choose Your Passion

As we talked before, people are searching and buying everything from the Internet nowadays. That means that you can write the reviews about literally everything.

What is your hobby?

What do you love doing?

Which products do you like?

What subject is interesting for you?

Think about these questions and decide which subject do you want to choose. You can be sure that there are affiliate programs for every subject you can name.

It means that you can always find the products to promote.

Write the Reviews. Honestly.

You may be thinking, “Hmmm… if I need to write reviews that encourage people to buy the products, do I need to be dishonest to sell the products better?”

NO! You don’t need to be dishonest.

No one will like you if you write the dishonest reviews. But if you sincerely help people to find the products that they are looking for, they will like you more and they will eventually buy more.

“How can I sell anything if I need to tell the pros and cons honestly?”

I am not the professional with the smartphones. I know how to use them but I don’t know too much about little technical stuff. Still I could write you a review and probably you would get some benefit. You would know if the phone is working well or not.

Are you asking your friends when you are about to buy something? I know that many people ask opinions from their friends and so do I.

We appreciate our friends’ opinions and the same applies when you are writing reviews. You don’t need to know all the details perfectly but you can just describe your own experiences.

People are interested in your experiences when they are about to buy the same product.

What?

I mean that you can also write the reviews of the products that you don’t like and they will make you more money. How?

Let’s say that you write the reviews about those smartphones. You write the review of Samsung Galaxy S4 and you honestly didn’t like it. You can say it straight in your review. You can say that the product was bad and you didn’t like using it.

In the end of the review, you will leave a link, “Galaxy S4 isn’t worth buying. FIND A BETTER SMARTPHONE HERE!” Then people will be directed to another review where you are describing a better phone that you can honestly recommend.

That way good and bad products will generate your income.

Analyze Yourself

When you feel the unwillingness to work what do you usually do?

Do you scroll Facebook’s news feed?
Do you play something TOTALLY USELESS with your phone?
Do you organize your papers?
Do you read blogs on the Internet?

Notice one thing: Usually, you are doing something. You are doing something that you shouldn’t.

You are doing something that seems useful but still it’s not the work that you should be doing.

About the Exercise

I want to mention that this exercise is highly effective if you do it well.

The point is that you don’t give yourself an alternative to doing something that would feel somehow useful. Don’t start to read the newspaper when you are doing the exercise. Don’t start to plan your weekend.

The idea is not to do anything.

You are giving yourself two alternatives:

1.Not doing anything

2.Working.

If you are a human being, homo sapiens, sooner or later you want to choose the alternative number 2, working.

How Do People Fail?

Some people fail because they give themselves more options. They give themselves the option number 3: do something useless that feels somehow useful.

STOP DOING IT NOW!

Try This!

Step 1 Set 5-minute timer and start

Step 2 Sit down on the floor

Step 3 Don’t to anything.

If you feel like taking your phone, don’t do it. Just sit. Do it for 5 minutes. I mean don’t do anything for 5 minutes. Just sit with your brain OFF-mode.

Let me repeat.

Don’t.
Do.
Anything.

Sooner or later you will feel so bored that working starts to feel very interesting option.

Before the exercise, you can put the 5-minute timer. Start working right away when you feel like it again. Most of the time you don’t want to sit there and wait for 5 minutes because it feels like a long time if you are not doing anything.

In my opinion, motivational techniques can be very useful if you are building your own online business and being your own boss.

Earning Money Online – 5 Typical Myths

When we talk about earning money online I’ve seen that many people have a lot of prejudices related to that theme.

I believed also some myths before when I wasn’t aware of the truth about making money online.

Today I’m going to tell the truth about 5 myths that I have heard about earning money online.

(I just want to mention that making money online can mean hundreds of different things: Freelancing, online marketing, teaching, making videos, investing, preaching, helping, counseling, selling and the list go on and on.)

1.Earning money online is only for cheaters. This myth is quite a common because unfortunately there are so many scams online.

It’s true that some of the “online gurus” are cheaters but that’s probably less than 1% of the online workers/entrepreneurs. In other words, most of the people who work online are not cheaters.

Working online can be totally as valuable as working offline (in the “real world”). And sometimes it can be many times more valuable than working offline. In Wealthy Affiliate, I have got to know many guys who make money online 100% legally and they provide important value for the people.

2.Earning money online is not “real work”. Some people may think that working online is equal to laying on the couch or in the beach. Yes, it can be like that because you are your own boss.

But if you want to success online you need to work. Earning online is like any other business. Success requires “real work”.

The goal for many people online is that they have enough passive income they can live with it. It’s totally okay and there’s nothing wrong with it. Some people have a better salary than others but if you want to have a good salary you need to provide good value for the people.

Let’s make a little comparison. Person A is a teacher at the local university and teaches to about 200 people every day. Sometimes less. He is a mediocre teacher but he was hired to the university already 20 years ago.

Person B works online and teaches 10 000 people every single day through his online videos. He is one of the best in his field. People like his teachings and he helps people to get their life better.

Is Person A doing “real work” and Person B not? Let me laugh! 🙂

3.People try to earn money online only because they want to get rich. That’s actually partially true. I guess that money is probably a motivator for many online entrepreneurs.

The Internet provides unbelievable opportunities. There are about 3,3 billion internet users today (and the amount is growing). If you want to help a lot of people, what’s the best channel to do that? Internet.

The Internet is the big part of today’s world and working online provides limitless opportunities to make this world better and make big things.

I would say that money is not the main motivator for online entrepreneurs.

4.Earning money online is “Easy Money”. Making money online can be easy. But first, you need to study and hard work to get that “easy money”.

Earning money in general (online and offline) requires two things
1.Education
2.Provide value for other people

Education can be formal or informal. You can get your education from the university, the internet, from the books or from friends. Still, you need to learn the skills first and then you can —> Provide value.

 

Providing value means helping other people, helping your boss, teaching, counseling, building or million of other things.

5.Few people have proper talent to earn money online. Are we living in the Stone Age? Today you have the best teachers ever teaching you how to earn money online. You don’t need any former skills.

Most of the Online Entrepreneurs started without any background of online work. They just started to learn and now they earn. Sometimes people just tend to forget that it requires hard work to earn online. But it pays off.
