Is Limu a Scam Or Will You Get a BMW and a Luxury Holiday?

“If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong. Blur the line between work & play!” I like the slogan of Limu. I am an online entrepreneur myself and I love what I’m doing. I have a freedom to travel around the world while earning dollars on the Internet.

However, I am not a huge fan of MLMs because they usually sell overpriced products and give exaggerated promises. Is Limu a scam? No, it’s not. Is Limu worth it? I will let my writer answer your questions in this article above. He has a pretty tough opinion about MLM-systems like Limu. It’s quite different what you would hear, for example, from Limu distributors.

We are not affiliated with Limu so you don’t need to be afraid that we would start selling their products to you. NOTE: The article only brings out one point of view about Limu. You can freely agree or disagree with the writers’ opinion.

Limu Review

Name: Limu

Founded: 2004/Gary J. Raser/Florida, USA.

Cost: Enrollment packages range from approximately $100-$1000

Type/Field: Multi-Level Marketing Programs, Nutrition/Health food

Short Review: Limu is not a scam nor a pyramid scheme. It’s a typical multi-level marketing program in the nutrition industry where you can succeed with hard work and persistence. You must, of course, love the products and the system to recruit others as well.

Personally, I am not a big fan of MLM-systems but I’m not completely against them either. If you are interested in making money with network marketing, I recommend checking out My #1 recommendation for making money online. It works also if you don’t do network marketing (like me, for example).

What Is Limu?

The Limu Network attributes the effectiveness of their product and company to a green form of vegetation that we often probably don’t even take into account when it comes to nutrition, Fucoidan. Wait… what? Simply put, their secret ingredient is Seaweed!

Limu claims this liquid nutrition is incomparable to other acclaimed health secrets. They bottle ingredients rich in this acclaimed underwater powerhouse and deem it liquid gold. Well, you have probably heard somewhat similar claims from other MLM-companies in the nutrition industry. Herbalife, Melaleuca, Isagenix, and Mannatech are some other famous companies in the same industry.

Limu attests that their products are extremely pure and beneficial by ways of claiming that their products are BPA Free, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, contains a natural 4 fruit blend, no added sugar, flavors, sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup or colors. They offer four basic product categories: Limu-original (high Fucoidan concentration health shots), Limu Blue & Blue 2 energy drinks, and Limu Lean (meal replacement shakes).

But what is Limu really? And what about the other side of the house, who is selling these products? Why do some people tend to think that Limu is selling their potential collaborators a dream? Let’s dive right in!

Limu was established in 2004 in Lake Mary, Florida by Gary J. Raser. This was a consecutive/follow up company after a failed business venue in which Raser and his company were fined (six-figure fines!) for false/unproven claims about their product. If you think that is bad, you’ll definitely pause for consideration when you learn that that company sold….. Drum roll…. Fucoidan. Seaweed. Just like Limu!

Makes you wonder if it somehow got more effective the second go around. This is only speculation of course as each product contains “unregulated amounts” of vital nutrients; thus making it impossible to list exact values or “effects”. Now we all know how semantics can get us caught up if we’re “skirting” the truth.

Luxury yachts, BMWs, free trips, etc. Aren’t we talking about a classical MLM-program here, huh? 😉

Is Limu a Pyramid Scheme? – How Does Limu Work?

Limu is an MLM network or Multi-Level Marketing programs that some people often refer to as pyramid schemes. Limu’s home page boasts that they offer a fun, free way to earn a living. There are three main facets of attraction including luxury reward trips, access to supposedly amazing health products, and free swag that helps promote the brand.

Limu claims to differentiate themselves from the competition with a plethora of supposed benefits like free corporate events/training, free enrollment, virtual training center, BMWs, and other prizes. However, Limu definitely operates under normal MLM recruitment tactics, pushy and desperate. Limu’s combined strategy of having their distributor’s purchase product up front and combining “free product” as one form of “compensation” almost guarantees the aspiring distributors will have a bulk product that proves unprofitable sitting around.

Moreover, it is heavily pushed to purchase large amounts of product in a wholesale/bulk manner prior to actual end customer acquisition. This supposedly allows the new Limu team member or “distributor” to absorb the majority of the profits. This also allows Limu to have “distributors” to push product and actually acquire customers while they set the base prices and profit margins for said individuals.

Despite all these facts, Limu is not an illegal pyramid scheme. They have real products which provide value to the customer. Still, many people find MLM-programs a little bit unpleasant. If you are interested in a better opportunity, check out the link below.

Limu Products and Their Pricing

Although pricing isn’t something easily identified via their website in regards to products, it is clear that one must set up “auto-fill” packages. The basic jist of this, as with many, network marketing companies though is that you must constantly procure new “team members” or “customers”.

As long as you sell a product to three customers, you get your auto fill/or this portion of it for free/a discount. Same old song and dance people. You must remain “active” and pursuant to new team members every month or goal period.

limu products

Limu’s flagship product – LIMU ORIGINAL®

If you’re really paying attention, it’s becoming less and less surprising that the founder, Gary Raser, was involved in legal disputes with a previous, eerily similar company. Supposedly, he may have outreached the proven effectiveness of his products with the health claims boasted.

Now that Raser learned his lesson with his first run-in with the FDA, it appears that Limu is careful as to what exactly is proven effects of regular consumption. Scandal or investment opportunity? Let’s get down to where the money is actually (supposedly) made.

Limu Compensation Plan

Limu claims that you have a generous six weeks to qualify for bonuses each month, pays up to five times a month, and offers 13 different ways to earn money. Limu’s 13 revenue generators include:
{2 Columns}

  • Customer Commissions
  • 3-for-FREE Product
  • Fast Track Bonus
  • 2K VIP Bonus
  • First Order Bonus
  • LIMU BMW CLUB Bonus
  • Cash Bonuses
  • Leader Development Bonus: 100K Leader Pool, 500K Leader Pool
  • Reward Trip
  • Level Bonus
  • Lifetime Cash Bonus

Quite many bonuses, huh? That’s typical for this kind of network marketing companies. Bonuses are a great way to keep people motivated. I’ll let Limu members explain the compensation (a.k.a. prosperity) plan in the video below:

They even help you set up your own prosperity plan (see the video above). All this flexibility sounds promising, right? The problem, as with many of these types of companies is that you can easily end up with a huge amount of bulk “buy wholesale/sale retail” type extra product, can’t pay bills with “free product”, and it takes continuous commitment, and literally YEARS to get to some of these bonus levels.

Additionally, earnings aren’t guaranteed and commissions are based on customer sales. This is tricky since customers tend to buy more product up front than on a month to month basis; especially if they’re having a difficult time seeing the benefit you are claiming manifest!

Limu Reviews & Complaints – Are There Proofs of Success?

As expected, there are few proven testimonials of a collective at the top of this pyramid structure. Although there is somewhat of a buzz about Limu; it seems to only be coming from individuals trying to grow their own businesses. Yes, the hype seems to be self-created. Once again, common among MLM-companies.

Overall, the vibe is one of the hopeful entrepreneurs ending up disappointed with their lackluster income after investing time and money into yet another dud. Customers also complain about the steep pricing of the Limu products as well as the lack of effectiveness or proof of claims.

As you probably already know, you need to belong to the top 1-5% if you want to make any significant money with Limu or any other MLM-program. In the other words, you need to be exceptional and better than the masses. It’s not even that complicated after all but it requires work, of course.

Limu success stories

Conclusion – Is Limu Worth It?

As you probably noticed, we mainly brought up the other side of the coin about Limu in this article. That’s because many people overlook the challenges of the network marketing business. They run into the promises and after a few months or years, they are thinking where did their time and money disappear.

If you enter any business, you need to be ready to work hard (and smart).

Network marketing has dramatically changed over the past few years. Before you would have needed to look for new prospects in the shopping malls, go from door-to-door or call through a list. However, nowadays it’s much easier because you can use the power of the Internet.

Actually, most successful network marketers can nowadays work from the comfort of their own homes or even from the exotic beach as long as they have the Internet connection. It certainly would be possible to make great money with Limu as well. A bigger question is whether their products are really something that you would like to promote.

Personally, I like promoting products that provide the best price/quality ratio for customers. Usually, that just wouldn’t be possible with MLM-products because the prices are in the sky. Recently, I was offered a profitable business opportunity but I didn’t want to be part of it even though I could have made big money. Reputation and credibility are far more important than quick wins.

That’s why I often recommend Wealthy Affiliate for people who are interested in making money online. Their ideology is based on helping other people rather than just trying to maximize your own profits. Over the time course, helping and caring will also lead to the best results. If you would earn money online as well, let’s get started.

Is Unicity a Scam Or Will You Succeed Easily After Joining?

I noticed people were asking on Google, “Is Unicity a scam?” That’s a typical question when it comes to any multi-level marketing program but Unicity is not a scam. They have been around since 2001 which is already a good while.

However, that doesn’t mean you should rush, buy their products and join the system right away. In this article one of my writers shares his honest opinion about Unicity business opportunity. He doesn’t talk too much about the products but puts a higher emphasis on the business system in this article. We are not affiliated with Unicity so you don’t need to be afraid that we would start promoting it.

WARNING: The article written by my writer is pretty straight and it highlights mainly one side of the network marketing. Of course, there are also many aspects and Unicity offers some value but he wants to brings this (not-so-much-talked-about) subject in this article.

unicity homepage

The unicity homepage shows their mission and 12-week Transformation program.

Unicity Review

Name: Unicity

Founded: 2001

Cost: $40-$1500 “startup” package options

Type/Field: Multi-Level Marketing Programs. Health and Wellness.

Short Review: In my personal opinion, Unicity is just another MLM-opportunity among hundreds of similar others in the nutrition supplement industry. If you absolutely love using their products and you are a hardworking person, then you could succeed with Unicity. But remember but you need to be exceptional because +95% of all distributors fail.

Whether or not you join Unicity, My #1 recommendation will help you to make money online.

What is Unicity?

Unicity claims to be a uniquely successful MLM company that prides themselves on incomparable potential market earnings. Since 2001, Unicity has boasted that they offer a new way of life to two different market demographics:

  • Potential Independent Unicity Distributors- individuals seeking additional income, ready and eager to sell their products.
  • Potential Customers- end users who purchase any combination of Unicity’s “15 All Natural Products”.

Thus we end up with a recruitment type salesman service as well as a product to be sold. Unicity’s products fall into the health and wellness market niche. Targeting weight loss, antiaging, overall wellness, detox agents, protein supplements, and more, Unicity markets their products in multi-product packages as well as individual items. They are definitely on the steeper end of price margins within their, very competitive marketing demographic.

Unicity refers to their continuous drive to “sign” new potential Independent Unicity Distributors as fire-starting. They stress the importance of new recruits to jump right in as fire starters. They are stressing the mentality of starting a fire at the bottom and promising those at the bottom to move up through this continuous grind of signing new “volume” and “income” underneath you. This “volume” and “income” is made up of other newly signed IUD’s urging others to sign under them. Exhausted yet? I know right…

unicity Products

Unicity Products

Is Unicity a Pyramid Scheme?

The jist is that everyone is excited to see someone new signed to the bottom of the pyramid because it pushes that person that much farther up. Many of us have experienced this “drowning rookie at the bottom of the ranks” on many jobs I’m sure. Since the company follows a pyramid structure; it is necessary for others to join you in order to elevate you from this bottom, an unprofitable rank of the system.

Unicity isn’t, of course, an illegal pyramid scheme because otherwise they would have been wiped out from the market a long time ago. It’s just a typical MLM-company like Herbalife, Amway, Melaleuca and hundreds of others.

How Does Unicity Work?

But, wait…… what is an MLM company anyway? MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing programs that we refer to network marketing. These network marketing programs typically offer their potential salespersons a new “career” or chance to “control your own destiny” or “be their own boss”.

They also usually promise an extraordinary life change due to all of the riches that you will earn by joining their company, paying their typical “startup” or joining fees, and then getting on your grind to sign others under you and encourage them to do the same. After all, the sky’s the limit, right? You get out what you put in? You’ll earn as much as you want as long as you put in your blood sweat and tears and sign up every living soul you know, right? EEeeehhh…

Is unicity a scam

Pyramid structure is typical for MLM-systems.

Okay, so now that we’ve identified what an MLM program is, what is all this talk about unilevel or binary plans of recruitment under one of these pyramid structures?

=> Tired of Pyramid Structures? Learn to Make Money Online without Recruiting a Single Person!

Unicity Compensation Plan

Binary plans create fast money while Unilevel plans create long-lasting revenues. Unicity claims to distinguish themselves from similar companies through the application of both models simultaneously. They refer to this strategy application as Unicity Unilevel planning, integrated in order to create a potential for unlimited earnings. The key word here is potential.

Not everyone, in fact, not even most individuals will experience such success. It is estimated that the statistic of superlative performance, and thus profits, is under a measly 5%. But hey, “may the odds be ever in your favor”. Of course, this is true in any business. Most people give up before they succeed. But MLM-systems like Unicity have often marketed in a way that it sounds like an easy money.

In the YouTube video linked below, “How to Build 3 Legs Deep to Diamond in Unicity”; the grueling, non-stop grind is explained and the speaker urges the importance of that “fire” and energy needed to utilize this pyramid network at its full potential. They explain how it is going to take time, dedication, and tenacity to keep going and never stop until you reach the top. He maintains that you must have a three-leg system all the way to the top.

You know, the classical story: “Just recruit 2 or 3. Then they recruit 2 and they recruit 2 and they recruit 2, etc. Once all those people are recruited, all of them will generate income for you in your team.” Well, as I stated above that’s often easier said than done. Unless you are leveraging the power of the Internet.

It is worth mentioning that there are several ways to actually earn profits as an Independent Unicity Distributor (IUD), albeit, these may not be “life-changing” profit margins. IUDs can potentially profit through retail sales; basically, buying Unicity products wholesale and selling them retail to clients that they procure.

Since it is up to the individual to decide how much product to purchase up front, the “startup” costs for this business can be seen as very low ($40) but can reach limits beyond $1500 as well. Personal, volume-based rebates (up to 20%) may be obtained after the first active month as an IUD. IUDs can also earn profits through bonuses determined by your qualifications, rank, and team member sales. These bonuses have specific limitations and restrictions.

If you don’t use the power of the Internet, your effort with MLM-programs may feel like this.

Unicity Reviews & Complaints

It’s apparent that Unicity may offer a form of fool’s gold in regards to claims of Unicity bringing about an entirely different lifestyle through vast earnings. However, it seems that if one were to put all available effort and dedicate a considerable amount of time to the system; they could have a slight chance at success within this MLM company.

Nevertheless, what happens when the “fire” dies or you run out of people to “pitch” a “life-changing opportunity” to? This is worth pondering if one were to find themselves considering Unicity, or many other “slim chance at success”, a scheme like MLM companies, as an alternative or new form of additional income.

The reviews that have positive “messages” about Unicity seem to conveniently be top Independent Distributors. The majority of comments and reviews, however, tend to show more of a trend of excited, “fired up”, ambitious entrepreneurial souls that seem to fizzle out after a short time and show a trail of failed profit attempts.

The same story of sounding like a desperate MLM-representative seems to be a repeating complaint from failed IUD hopefuls. They never seem to obtain that promised passive income that gave them so much hope in the earlier stages of joining the company, which at the time felt like more of a movement.

unicity events

The atmosphere in Unicity events is like in a revival meeti… typical MLM-convention.

Conclusion – Is Unicity Worth It?

After all this highlighting of the challenges of an MLM, I want to say that there could be an exception when Unicity or other similar company could be for you. In my opinion, you should fill this criterion if you want to succeed with MLM-business:

  1. You need to like love products that you are selling.
  2. You don’t need to be afraid of recruiting and building a team. (NOTICE THAT BOTH OF THESE THINGS CAN HAPPEN ONLINE. You don’t need to rely on “old-school” marketing methods anymore in the 21th century if you really don’t want.)
  3. You have a hardworking and persistent character.

Of course, principles one and three apply to almost any kind of businesses. You need to believe in products that you are selling and you must be willing to work hard.

Is Total Life Changes a Pyramid Scheme Or Will It Change You?

Total Life Changes is a captivating name for a company. But will they really change your life? Can they really make your body fit and the wallet fat? Is Total Life Changes a pyramid scheme or the best opportunity ever?

I decided to write this review for you to answer all your questions about this opportunity and the company. I am highly interested in fitness and building businesses so the subject is something that I enjoy researching.

In addition, I have researched more than 100 similar MLM-companies so I can for sure give you an idea or two. 😉 By the way, I am not affiliated with Total Life Changes in any way so I am not going to promote their system to you. I just want to provide information. Let’s get rolling!

Total Life Changes Review

Name: Total Life Changes (TLC)

Founded: 1999 by Jack Fallon

Type: Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Health & Wellness.

Short Review: Total Life Changes is another MLM-company in a highly competitive and growing health & wellness industry. They have shown consistency for almost two decades and it isn’t a pyramid scheme. However, the success with TLC requires tons of recruiting and selling which is a reason why +95% of their members fail.

If you are interested in a proven money-making system, I recommend taking a look at My #1 work from home RecommendationIt’s not a get-rich-scheme but that program has changed my and thousands of other people’s lives. You will need to do the work but the earning potential is much greater than in any 9-5 job.

What Is Total Life Changes?

Founded by Jack Fallon in 1999 and marketed under the name SeAcai, the company was re-branded in 2012 as Total Life Changes. Their products include health and wellness products, such as vitamins and supplements as well as skincare items, coffee and essential oils.

Total Life Changes is a multi-level marketing program and this business model depends heavily on recruiting people into the business so they can, in turn, recruit others. At the moment the company provides 5 different product categories:

  • Health & Wellness
  • Skincare
  • Kits & Packs
  • Coffee
  • Essential Oils

With so much competition in the skincare and health and wellness industries, it seems that the market is saturated with these products. There are many similar companies that tout health benefits by using their products. Not only does Total Life changes have to compete with similar multi-level marketing companies, but they also have to compete with big box retail stores that sell similar products for much less. Therefore, the competition to get customers to buy Total Life Changes products is high.

You have probably heard of other MLM-companies in the same industry like Herbalife, Melaleuca, Kannaway, Mannatech and hundreds of others. However, the tough competition is also a proof that lots of money is being made in this industry. There are great opportunities and the demand is growing year by year. If you are interested in learning how to make big money even in the tough industry like health & wellness, I recommend taking a look at this step-by-step training.

Total Life Changes Products

Total Life Changes offers a wide variety of products from health and wellness to coffee to skincare products and essential oils. The products are made of quality ingredients, but are quite pricey.

The health and wellness products include vitamins and dietary supplements. They even have available weight-loss supplements and promise quick results. Instant Iaso Tea is marketed as an appetite suppressant as well as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

total life changes product reviews

Nutritional supplements are optimal for MLM-companies because they provide big profit margins.

The skincare line of products has much to offer. Whether you’re trying to look thinner or need a boost for your skin, Total Life Changes has the products for you. You can purchase soap, skin creams and slimming wraps.

Coffee and essential oils are also available. Their branded coffee called Iaso Cafe Latin comes in a pack of three for $24.95. That’s a bit pricey for a little bit of coffee. If you’re a regular coffee drinker, this will become an expensive habit quickly.

While Total Life Changes products are of good quality, they are extremely expensive. The average person could not afford to keep buying such products because the price is too high. For example, a small vial of Envidia Skin Serum is priced at $119.95. The Essential Soap is $12.95. That seems like a high price to pay for a bar of soap that isn’t going to last very long.

=> Learn to Make Money Online “on Autopilot” by Promoting Any Product You Want!

Total Life Changes Startup Cost

Total Life Changes offers three different starter packs. You get a certain amount of product with each pack and the amount of product you get depends on the pack you purchase. The three starter packs are:

  • Basic Builder Pack priced at $104.95
  • Professional Pack priced at $154.95
  • Entrepreneur Pack priced at $309.95

If you wish to remain an active member of Total Life Changes and receive commissions you are required to purchase at least one product per month from Total Life Changes. As a distributor, you can purchase products at a 50 percent discount which can be good if you are trying to build your display and samples to show to prospective customers or business partners.

50% “discount” or profit as a distributor is pretty big compared to other companies. That makes it more appealing for new members to join their program. Who would otherwise want to pay 50% extra for the products? On the other hand, it’s also a sign that their products are normally priced extremely expensive.

total life changes product categories

Total Life Changes Compensation Plan

In the video below these good-looking Total Life Changes members explain you their compensation plan in a great detail. They do it pretty well because the video has received only 1 dislike and 183 likes on YouTube. Anyway, their purpose is, of course, promote the system and the opportunity to you so I advise you to be careful.

The first way you earn income is through direct sales where you can earn even 50 percent on retail sales. The second way you earn is to enroll a business partner in one of Total LIfe Changes’ package where you will earn 50 percent of what they pay for their package.

Once you have two business partners enrolled in the program you earn binary income which is anywhere from 10 percent to 25 percent. You earn a matching bonus on your team’s binary pay. High-ranking distributors also earn a $1,500 per month lifestyle bonus. However, reaching that level requires most likely years of work unless you are not effectively leveraging the power of the Internet which is taught in this step-by-step training.

In order to earn good bonuses and commissions with the system, you need to have two active distributors below you. You and they need to meet the requirement of minimum sales and purchases to earn bonuses. If you want to move up in the ladder, you naturally need to recruit more people and they need to start making sales and recruiting as well. That’s how any MLM-business works.

Total Life Changes Income Disclosure Statement

Total Life Changes doesn’t provide averages of how much their members are earning with the system. They just say that TLC can’t guarantee your success or results. They don’t take the responsibility for your actions.

So, you must do your own diligence about their products, opportunity, risks, etc. I am wondering why they aren’t providing any averages of their earnings even though they have been around already for almost 20 years. Do the numbers look too bad?

Total Life Changes Reviews & Complaints

Reviews regarding Total Life Changes products and business opportunity are mixed. Many online reviews of Total Life Changes products are favorable with many saying the products are of high quality and they work as expected. Others have commented that customer service is excellent, while some claim the customer service is non-existent.

One online reviewer stated that Total Life Changes’ products has proven to show life long differences, and at the same time being a total financial game changer when it comes to network marketing. Others feel that the company is scamming customers into buying products that are overpriced when comparable products can be purchased much cheaper elsewhere.

The business opportunity is a real potential money-maker. However, most people will fail at this business because it relies on recruiting. You don’t start making a substantial amount of money until you recruit business partners who will also be required to recruit. Unless you know many business minded people, you will eventually run out of friends and family that you can recruit and that is when your excitement for this opportunity begins to die down.

total life changes reviews

Ira concludes it pretty well. Success in any MLM depends on you.

Conclusion – Is Total Life Changes Worth It?

Total Life Changes is a legitimate company. But MLM companies are not for everyone. Weigh the pros and cons to help you decide.

Personally, I am not a big fan of network marketing because I always want to promote products that have the best price/quality ratio for the customers. That kind of products I also want to use myself.

Recently, I was introduced to an opportunity where I would have made quite easily extra +$5,000 per month but I refused because in my opinion the products weren’t something that I would have wanted to promote. I put the highest value for customer satisfaction. That’s why I am not so excited about joining MLM-programs. Integrity and providing the great value are more important than bigger profits.

If you are interested in the money-making opportunity that I have used myself and I recommend to my friends, I would than happy to tell you more about it. I have used it now for 2-2,5 years and it’s working even better than I expected. Now I have a freedom to earn money online while travelling the world.

Oh and by the way, with that opportunity you can make money by promoting any products you ever want.

BeautyCounter Review

Name: BeautyCounter (BC)

Founded: 2013 by Gregg Renfrew

Type: Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Skin Care and Cosmetics.

Short Review: BeautyCounter is a typical MLM-company that is targeted for business-minded ladies. Their products are expensive like you can expect from this kind of company but they still provide some good value.

Success with BC would require years of hard work and dedication unless you are leveraging the power of the Internet and this step-by-step training.

What Is BeautyCounter?

BeautyCounter is a network marketing company that is concentrating on selling cosmetics and skin care products. They have a wide range of different kind of products including sunscreens, creams, lipsticks, soaps and much more.

The company was founded in 2013 by a businesswoman Gregg Renfrew. The company is still relatively new but they have grown pretty well during their first years. They have already more than 25,000 consultants and over 100 different products.

You have probably heard of other similar companies like BeautyCounter. There are hundreds of network marketing companies in the same industry with them including Mary Kay, Younique, Young Living, Modere, Avon and many others.

BeautyCounter Products

BeautyCounter products are not trying to win the competition by being “all-natural”. Still, they say that over 80% of ingredients in their products are organic, natural and plant derived. That’s still a pretty good number, huh? But not perfect, of course.

Their goal is to provide transparency with their products by showing the information openly. It naturally builds trust with clients and distributors.

Their product categories are:

  • Skin Care
  • Make Up
  • Bath & Body
  • Family (Kids & Babies)

Let me just show you some of their products.

is beautycounter a scam

BeautyCounter Creams and Lotions

is beautycounter a scam

BeautyCounter Lipsticks

As you have probably experienced with other similar MLM-programs, the prices are overpriced if you compare them to other products in the supermarket. By doing this, they can pay bigger profits for their distributors.

I have often asked network marketers why are their products so expensive. A typical responses is that you can make profits easier by selling expensive products rather than selling cheap products.

Instead of promoting expensive products to make bigger profits myself, I prefer promoting products that provide the best price/quality ratio for other people. The best products for promoting are the ones that you use yourself.

  1. $85 enrollment fee.
  2. One of their product packages. The price is $218, $419 or $723 depending on the packag.
  3. Yearly renewal fee of $50 to remain a consultant.

By paying the enrollment fee you’ll get a personalized website, access to your supportive back office and to your training platform. Actually, you wouldn’t need to pay anything for having your own website because you can get two here for free.

When it comes to their products packages, in my opinion, their products are pretty expensive. You need to buy one of these packages so you can sell the products forward or try them yourself. Here’s their cheapest $218 package called The Skin Care Classics:

beautycounter The Skin Care Classics

It’s funny that they say the total value would be $371 and you are saving 41% when you buy it in the package. That’s how almost all MLM-companies do and it’s just a classical marketing trick. Nothing wrong it though…

If you would buy the same package from Walmart or Target, you would probably pay less than $100 but of course BeautyCounter claims that their products have a higher quality.

BeautyCounter Compensation Plan

Here are a few important points about their compensation plan:

  • Consultants can earn 25-35% commissions or product sales.
  • If you want to remain an active consultant, you need to achieve the requirement of 1,200 QV every six months. At least 250 QV must be new volume. (Their consultants can explain you more about this.)
  • The more you sell and recruit, the higher commissions and better bonuses you will get.

Instead of writing you all the details about their compensation plan here I am going to let one of their consultants explain it to you in the video below. I don’t endorse the video but I attached it here just for educational purposes.

You can also read more about their compensation plan here. Based on my research of more than 100 similar MLM-companies their comp plan looks pretty typical. Commissions of around 30% are normal in this industry. That’s one of the most significant reasons why MLM-companies also have higher prices so they can pay bigger profits to their members.

Notice that there is also a big focus on recruiting new people to the system. It’s the most profitable way to earn money in any MLM. Those people who are on top of the pyramid make the biggest income.

BeautyCounter Income Disclosure Statement

I wasn’t able to find the income disclosure statement where they would show the actual earnings of their consultants. Do you know the reason why some companies like BeautyCounter don’t publish it online?

Anyway, I’m sure that less than 95% of consultants make significant money with the system. The majority of the members lose more money on the products and fees than they ever earn from the system. That’s how these MLM-companies work. You need to make exceptional results to climb to the top and start earning well. Or, you can just follow this step-by-step training and get leads and sales online on “autopilot”.

BeautyCounter Reviews & Complaints

beautycounter bbb reviews

BeautyCounter on BBB.

BeautyCounter is not (yet) Better Business Bureay accredited and they have a D rating based on current reviews and complaints. Still, I wouldn’t put too much focus on this because there are only 5 complaints on BBB about BeautyCounter so far.

On Glassdoor you can find more than 60 reviews by their former and current members. Remember that their members have an incentive to write positive reviews because it will add value to their own business.

At the moment they have an average rating of 3,2 stars out of 5 based on tens of reviews on Glassdoor. Let me show you a few examples:

BeautyCounter reviews and complaints

The person who wrote the review above is worried that he spends too much time on training new members who eventually don’t start working with the company seriously. My advice would be to leveraging the power of the Internet and going through this step-by-step training. It teaches how any network marketers can make sales on autopilot even while they are sleeping.

beautycounter reviews

The person above talks like a typical success story in network marketing. It takes effort, dedication and discipline to succeed but it’s possible. You also need to strongly believe in the company and its potential. Without a belief it would be almost impossible.

She also mentions that she has worked with BeautyCounter for 3 years. It’s another thing that you need to take into account. Success with network marketing requires usually years of work. It doesn’t happen overnight.

Despite this kind of success stories, there are also some complaints about the company like you can see below.

beautycounter complaints

Conclusion – Is BeautyCounter Worth It?

As you have probably read between the lines (or if you have read my other articles), you have noticed that I am not a big fan of network marketing. I have nothing against it and I respect people who make good business. However, I don’t like the fact that most MLM-companies sell overpriced products and give exaggerated promises.

Sharing success stories and testimonials is a typical practice for any kind of business but we always need to keep in mind that only less than 1-5% of network marketers succeed. Jim Rohn said it was easy for him to become a millionaire but in the same sentence he added, “It’s also easy not to become a millionaire.” Many people prefer taking the easy road and aren’t willing to put in the work. Then they give up without seeing immediate results.

Is BeautyCounter still worth it? I recommend that you would first buy some of their products, use them for a while and decide then. If you want to succeed with their system, you need to work hard and persistently. Network marketing (or building any kind of business) is not for lazy people.

If after testing their products, you still think they are worth the price and you feel that they would genuinely help others, I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t join their program (if you are a hardworking person).

There are many ways to earn money and my favorite is to earn passive income online. It means that I earn money even while I am sleeping just by promoting other people’s products on my websites and on social media. In my opinion, it’s much more effective than trying to look for prospects in the shopping malls and arranging home parties like many network marketers do.

If you are interested in making money online as well, take a look at my #1 work from home recommendation. It will teach how you can make money from the comfort of your own home (or wherever you want to travel in the world) and become your own boss. Just click the link below to get started for free.

Is Vida Divina a Scam? Is $40 for 4 Tea Bags a Bit Too Much?

When Vida Divina was holding their launch for 9 months many people were asking, “Is Vida Divina a Scam?” Still, nowadays I see people looking for an answer to that question on Google. That’s why I wanted to write you this article about Vida Divina.

I am not affiliated with their company but I do my best to give you information whether their company is worth joining or not. I have researched +100 similar MLM-companies so I can say a thing or two about Vida Divina as well. If you still have some questions after reading my article, I am always available for questions or comments below.

Vida Divina Review

Name: Vida Divina

Founded: 2016

Type: Health, Fitness & Weight Loss. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).

Short Review: Vida Divina is a relatively young MLM-company in the Health & Weight Loss industry. Still, they have risen fast partially because of its famous founder and CEO Armand Puyolt.

I am not a big fan of this kind of companies and I’m pretty skeptical of the products. The prices are huge but several people are reporting negative side-effects.

If you are looking for completely proven methods to earn money, I recommend taking a look at My #1 Work From Home Recommendation.

What Is Vida Divina And Who Is the Founder?

Vida Divina is another network marketing that is operating in the weight loss industry. Their founder and CEO is Armand Puyolt that has been in the past a top distributor of another similar MLM-company called Total Life Changes. He has also been involved with MLM-companies like Kyani, Metabolife and ACN.

Armand’s story is pretty inspiring. By the age of 20 he became a million-dollar earner and at the age of 25 he was already a 5-million dollar earner. Nowadays he earns several million dollars every year thanks to his businesses.

He has also overcome many obstacles during his life including two car accidents, two health crises, and even terminal illness. He’s a tough guy, huh? Nobody can’t beat a person who never gives up like the old wisdom says.

Despite Armand’s success there has been some controversy around him. In 2015 he said in Total Life Changes (TLC), “We love what we are doing.” but soon he wanted to launch his own company that is clearly a competitor to TLC. He also claimed that TLC products cured his cancer. I’m pretty skeptical about that kind of claims but I’m, of course, happy the cancer was cured.

Those are similar claims that Herbalife distributors and members of other similar programs like Mannatech, Kannaway, etc. are saying.

vida divina popularity

You can see the jump in Google searches of Vida Divina around its launch in 2016.

What about the company itself, their products and the system? Is it a great system to join and to promote? Let’s have a closer look.

Vida Divina Products

At the moment Vida Divina has 5 product categories (I think that they’ll add more products in the future):

  • Detox Teas
  • Weight Control Products
  • Nutrition
  • Performance Boost
  • Skin Care

Their two flaghip products are Te Divina and Factor Divina.

Factor Divina is a nutritional supplement that includes 32 vitamins, tons of different superfoods and other nutrition. Te Divina is, like its name tells, a special tea. It’s a detox and a weight loss tea.

Vida Divina's #1 Top Selling Product Te Divina

Vida Divina’s #1 Top Selling Product Te Divina

Their products are very expensive which is very typical for this kind of MLM-companies. For example, 4 bags of Te Divina (=one month supply) cost $40. The yearly cost for the tea would then be $520 unless you buy them in a bigger package. However, for their members the prices are more affordable as I will show below.

For that price Te Divina should already have some positive effect to mind and body. I am myself drinking a ginger tea with lemon while writing this article which is also known as a super-healthy option. One month supply for that tea costs less than $5.

Also other Vida Divina products are extremely expensive. That’s one of the main reasons why I am not a big fan of network marketing. The products are so expensive compared to similar products on Amazon or in Walmart.

Vida Divina Starter Pack

In order to get started with Vida Divina you need to buy one of their starter packages. Here are the four options that they provide:

  • Starter Kit 1 $120 => 18 tea bags
  • Starter Kit 2 $300 => 48 tea bags
  • Starter Kit 3 $600 => 96 tea bags
  • Starter Kit 4 $1,200 => 192 tea bags

It’s not the cheapest starter kit out there but still affordable. You also need to maintain a minimum of 120 PV (Personal Volume) in autoship every month to continue with the program.

Vida Divina Compensation Plan

You will earn 28% commission for reselling Vida Divina products. That’s not bad when we consider that they’re physical products. Then you’ll earn commissions from your team members (from the people you have recruited) and bonuses if you reach enough sales and recruits.

Anyway, instead of me explaining all the details of their program to you, I let one of their members tell all about it in a great detail in the following video. But remember that the purpose of that kind of videos by their members’ is to promote and sell the system for you. So, be careful.

I always like to take a quick look the company’s income disclosure statement. Usually, MLM-companies like to show videos and pictures of big mansions and sports cars but the reality is that only 1-5% of top people ever succeed of all members.

Vida Divina Income Disclosure Statement

Vida Divina doesn’t show a complete chart of their average earnings unlike many other MLM-companies but they still tell some estimations how much people are earning with the company on average.

Based on the information on their official website they say that average annual earnings for their affiliates are something between $500 and $2,000. Those numbers don’t take into account the expenses that their members have for purchasing their products. In the other words, many of their affiliates are spending more money in the products than they are earning.

Vida Divina Reviews & Complaints

vida divina reviews BBB

Vida Divina on BBB

Vida Divina is not accredited on BBB and their overall rating is F (the worst one). At the moment there are still “only” 14 customer complaints. In total there are 17 customer reviews with the average rating 1,78 stars out of 5. Doesn’t sound very promising, huh?

Vida Divina Side Effects

There were some complaints about the slow launch but some people also experienced the side effects after using their products:

  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Cramping
  • Etc.

Anyway, Vida Divina members said that body is just cleaning itself and people should continue using the products despite the side effects in the beginning. Would you continue? I’m not sure if I would. Take a look at two examples below:

vida divina reviews

Donna started vomiting after taking Te Divina. She also got a horrendous diarrhea.

vida divina reviews and complaints

Fiona experienced also serious side-effects while using Te Divina.

Despite these complaints and side effects there are also some people who have been genuinely satisfied with Vida Divina and their products. Otherwise, they couldn’t be making tens of millions in sales.

It’s still good to keep in mind that usually all people who endorse their products are involved in the system and make money for more sales. Anyway, let me show you one happy Vida Divina member:

Conclusion – Is Vida Divina Worth It?

The best way to decide is just to buy a little amount of products yourself and see what kind of effects they have in your body. I can already say what kind of effects they will have on your wallet! 😉

Their products will certainly make your wallet thinner but whether their weight loss products will make your body thinner, is another question. Anyway, the company isn’t scam and they are delivering real products that have helped some people to get closer to their goals.

Personally, I am not a big fan of multi-level marketing. Sure, there are some benefits and the ideology itself isn’t completely doomed. But overpriced products and exaggerated promises are two things that I don’t like.

If you are looking for completely honest and proven ways to make money, I highly recommend taking a look at Wealthy Affiliate. Their training has taught me and thousands of other people to make money online. The company has been around for 12-13 years and they have educated more than 1,000,000 (aspiring) online entrepreneurs until today.

Is Purium a Pyramid Scheme? What About The SIDE-EFFECTS?

Is Purium a Pyramid Scheme? How does their company work? Are the products worth promoting?

In this article we am going to take a look at Purium business opportunity. I’ll explain you what their system is all about. I’ll also give you my personal opinion and I think I can say a thing or two because I have researched more than 100 similar network marketing companies.

Purium Review

Name: Purium

Founded: In 1993 by Dave Sandoval

Type: Multi-Level Marketing. Health Products.

Short Review: Purium is a typical MLM-company selling overpriced products in the health & fitness industry. I don’t get very excited about this company because they have so many negative customer reviews and the reputation is pretty controversial.

In my opinion, there are much better alternatives available for buying fitness products or making money from home. My #1 Recommendation for making money online is Wealthy Affiliate. Because their training has taught me and thousands of other people to make money online. They teach how you can earn money by promoting any products you want.

What Is Purium?

Purium health is a multi-level marketing company involved in selling health and diet related products. It was once known as Organic by Nature before it was re-branded to its current name. Founded in 1993 by Dave Sandoval, Purium adopts a holistic approach to life, and most of its products adhere to the principles of Naturopathy.

Its flagship project which is touted as the healthiest, simplest and fastest weight loss program is its 10-day transformation program that promises you a lifetime chance to lose between 5 to 20 pounds in 10 days while also resetting your metabolism. While this company may be legit product-wise, there are better options available out there especially if you are only interested in the online business opportunity. So, is Purium a pyramid scheme? Here are the facts.

Purium Products

One of its major product is the 10-day Transformation Program mentioned earlier whose kit includes several of the company’s products, a tape measure, gym bag as well as an instructional guide. Basically, Purium Health boasts of over 100 products that are grouped into five categories namely weight loss, athletes, anti-aging, family nutrition and greens.

Purium 10-Day Transformation Product

Purium 10-Day Transformation Product

Weight loss products include a series of shakes, meal replacements/supplements while athletes products include supplements and shakes designed to improve the performance of an athlete as well as a 10-day transformation Program designed specifically for athletes.

Anti-aging products include skin creams and supplements designed to counter the effects of aging as well as products that take care of heart health, joint health among other parts of the body. The family nutrition products consists of meals and products that are specifically designed for the health of children. Greens are composed of supplements and organic juices produced from a variety of natural green plants.

Purium Products

Purium Products

I don’t know what do you think about the pricing but in my opinion they are on the upper-side of the scale. That’s why I am not a big fan of network marketing. I prefer buying and promoting products that have the best price/quality ratio. By the way, you can learn it as well by clicking the link below.

=> Learn to Make Money Online By Promoting Any Products You Want in the World!

Purium Compensation Plan

The company says that the payment system at Purium Health is unique compared to similar multi-level marketing companies such as Herbalife, Kannaway, Mannatech, Visalus and others. Purium adopts a Gift Card marketing system where members get a set of $50 gift cards which they then distribute at their own will.

The members do not pay anything for the Gift Cards but will only receive any money after the Gift Cards have been redeemed for a 10-day Transformation Program kit. At this point, they make $50 with things getting even better if the person who redeems the Gift Card becomes a member too.

The idea behind this plan is that signing up new members is easy and quick through handing out gift cards while also giving you an opportunity to grow your network and increase income on purchases made by other people. Purium Health also comes with an array of bonuses and incentives for their Git Card distributors as they rise up the company’s ranking system.

BUT

Notice that you get that “$50 gift card” only by spending money on their products. So actually it’s just a discount from their  overpriced products. In the other words, it’s just a marketing trick to try to get you to buy their products!

Anyway, I let one of their members explain you their compensation plan in a detailed manner. But before you check it out I remind you that he’s trying to sell you their products and the system. Keep that in mind and don’t get lured in by their hype.

This is what they say in Purium, “The company also hires a Naturopath who offers its members free nutritional consultation services as well as recommend products based on an individual’s medical history and lifestyle. Anyone who adopts a holistic approach to his or her health will find these products extremely beneficial.

Besides, these products are certified organic which is another advantage for those conscious of their health. This confirms the company’s seriousness and commitment to creating and selling healthy products.”

Well, all MLM-companies sing the same songs. They say their products are the best in the Universe, tested by top professional and doctors, blaa, blaa, blaa… 😉

Purium Reviews – BBB and Other Sources

purium bbb reviews

Purium BBB

At the moment Purium is not BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited and their BBB rating is F as you can see in the picture on the right side.

They have an average rating of 2,1 stars out of 5 based on 12 reviews on BBB. In my opinion, that’s not very good. Also, their average ratings on Amazon aren’t good compared to hundreds of other similar products.

Let me give you one example now and more in the next chapters:is purium a pyramid schemeA Purium Complaint

Purium Side Effects and Other Concerns

The 10-day Transformation Program has been regarded as too expensive, costing way over $200 plus this 10-day program is not backed up by any health or clinical research. The claims made about this program by Purium Health cannot be confirmed by any independent studies as well which means there are no guarantees. Participants of the 10-day program have also reported some side effects. Further, the company recommends that anyone contemplating on attempting its 10-day Transformation Program consult a doctor first before doing so especially those on any medication whether over-the-counter or prescription. This further raises doubts about the program.

Another issue with Purium Health regards several unresolved complaints most of which are filed under the Better Business Bureau. The fact that Purium Health has failed to resolve these complaints either willingly or otherwise is a matter of concern with regard to its customer service and business practices.

Purium Complaint on Side-Effects

Purium Complaint on Side-Effects

Most customers have complained about experiencing side effects and that they were not able to drink the shake no matter what they mixed it with. Some of the side effects that most of these people experienced included nausea, headaches, stomach cramps, indigestion, low blood sugar, diarrhea, increased bathroom usage, reduced electrolytes, insomnia, extreme thirst, an inability to function normally and fatigue. Those who experienced extreme side effects were hospitalized with some actually collapsing while on the 10-day Transformation Program.

Is Purium Safe?

This is what they say on Purium, “Purium Health is a unique multi-level marketing company that is certainly an interesting option for those in need of an efficient and quick way to lose weight or anyone interested in Naturopathy or holistic living. Their compensation plan unlike most MLM firms could be a fruitful venture for those with a marketing and sales background. Its flagship 10-day Transformation Program has not been scientifically endorsed or independently verified by researchers hence it should only be used with approval from a licensed physician.

Purium Health products are regarded as wholesome with most of these with a primary purpose to support people on fasts. The benefits of this program is that it improves metabolism, keeps blood sugar levels stable, burn fat as well as promoting the well being of a person. Purium produces its products in a strictly GMP certified facility to ensure routine quality and 3rd party inspections. The philosophy behind their supplements is to provide minerals and vitamins in their naturally occurring chemical context.

This means that most of their products are isolates or extracts from herbs, vegetables and natural fruits as opposed to individual nutrient supplements. This ensures provision of minerals, vitamins and other biologically beneficial compounds such as phytonutrients. This also makes their supplements more expensive and more complex.”

I think it’s probably just BS. Take a look at this Purium review:

is purium a pyramid scheme

The guy needed to take an ambulance after using Purium products.

For many years now Purium has been on a slow decline in terms of popularity and the time will show whether it will turn or start going down.

Conclusion – Is Purium Worth It?

In this article I wanted to raise awareness of risks of Purium. In addition, I want to remind that making money with multi-level marketing doesn’t ever happen overnight. If you have experience if building a business, you know what I am talking about.

Recently, I confronted with a company that was promising big income like $5,000-20,000/month with a little effort but I realized that their marketing strategy and the company itself is dishonest. If somebody promises you big money within a short period of time, don’t run into that without making a huge research.

My #1 recommendation for making money online is Wealthy Affiliate. They have a completely honest training has taught me and thousands of other newbies for making a life-changing income online. They don’t promise you riches overnight but you can for sure make +$10,000/month online if you work hard and persistently.

Ariix Review: A Phenomenal Opportunity Or a Pyramid Scheme?

Is Ariix a Pyramid Scheme? That’s the question you may have asked yourself when you saw extremely high prices of their products or heard it’s a network marketing company.

In this review me (Roope) and YourOnlineRevenue.com team member are going to answer your questions about this company. We are not affiliated with Ariix in any way so you can trust that we are not going to promote their products to you just with the hope of making profits.

Without further ado, let’s get started.

is ariix a scam

Ariix leaders are former Usana distributors.

Ariix Review

Name: Ariix

Founded: July 2011 in Salt Lake City

Cost: $150/month and above

Type: Health-based products: supplements, weight management, air and water filters, personal care products, essential oils, skincare products. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).

Short Review: Ariix is a typical MLM-company with overpriced products and big promises. Personally, I am not a big fan of this kind of systems because you could buy similar products for 2-5 times cheaper at your local supermarket. In addition, I wouldn’t get excited of offering overpriced to my customers.

Therefore, I’d rather recommend looking for better ways to make money. My #1 Work From Home Recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate. It has helped me and thousands of other people to make a living online. It’s not an MLM and you don’t need to sell any overpriced products.

What Is Ariix?

Ariix is a multilevel marketing company that has a presence in some 20 countries. It was founded in July 2011 by five co-founders with extensive backgrounds in MLMs: Mark Wilson, Deanna Latson, Dr. Fred W. Cooper, Riley TImmer, and Jeff Yates. Most of the founders of Ariix have a background in another MLM-company called Usana.

It started slow, but its recognition increased slowly the past two years until it became one of the most competitive MLMs that are specialized in healthcare products.

As with all MLMs, you can only make money if you’ve developed a large team and are already on the upper levels of the organization. As most people don’t get to the upper levels the chances of you making real money with this are very low.

Ariix Products

Ariix targets people who are interested in a healthy lifestyle, offering a variety of products that claim to achieve that goal. There’s no reason to think that these products are in any way different to the others found on the market, except they cost a lot more. The products are split into several brands.

ariix Products

  • Nutrifii – is a line of supplements that aim to give the body all the nutrients it needs to achieve the best health. They’re so confident in the quality of their products that they offer 100% Quality and Effectiveness Guarantee!” and “a 30-day 100% money back guarantee”. I don’t know about you but such outrageous claims of perfection always make me doubt the quality of the products. So far, the only real quality I’ve found is in their website design.

  • Slenderiiz – is a not only a line for weight loss products but “the only” healthy and natural weight management system that shows improved weight loss results. It’s a combination of meal replacement shakers and various supplements combined with a 1250 calories-a-day plan that promises rapid weight loss.

  • Puritii – supplies air and water filtration devices that are supposed to protect you from the pollutants that impact your health. It provides portable water and air filters that seem very professional and easy to use.
ariix revivee products

I have never paid $15 for a toothpaste or $35 for a bottle of shampoo.

  • Reviive 2.0. is a personal care products line that includes many items everyone needs like shampoos, body wash, toothpaste or conditioner. All products are organic, healthy products.

  • Priime is a line of essential oils which promise solutions to various problems which include relaxation, tension relief, boosting the immune system and others.

  • Jouvre is a beauty products line that has various cosmetic products generally used for skincare.
ariix Jouve products review

In my opinion, Ariix products are extremely overpriced. For example, This Night cream costs $124,21.

All products seem interesting but the claims Ariix has concerning their efficiency have no scientific basis. I’ll give you just an example: the Sleenderiiz line that handles weight loss products offer homeopathic remedies that have been labeled by traditional medicine as having no beneficial effect on weight loss. It seems more like Ariix has gathered some random ingredients, labeled them nicely and now are selling them at horrendous prices.

Now that we’re talking about prices, there is an obvious gap between what the products are worth and how much they cost. As all MLMs, the price is determined by how much money the company wants to make and not by the quality of the products or even the market price. It’s the marketer’s job to convince the customer that that huge price is nothing compared to the benefits gained.

How Much Does It Cost to Join Ariix?

Ariix is free to join and get a discounted price on the products but this free membership will get you nowhere.

In order to become an affiliate and be part of the Compensation Plan, Ariix has a monthly fee of $150. This doesn’t seem too much considering they promise you’ll be able to gain more money than you can spend. Even though they promise very much, there practically no way to determine how much money you’ll actually make and if this fee is worth it.

Ariix Compensation Plan

Is Ariix a pyramid scheme or can you actually make money? Ariix claims to give its distributors an awesome opportunity to earn and even own their own business by selling their products. They say its ACTIV8 Compensation Plan is like no other the world has ever seen. The plan basically works like every other MLM you’ve heard of: it has a multi-line structure that keeps money flowing from the bottom as well as from the top.

After becoming an Ariix affiliate, you are on the top of your organization with two branches under you. From each branch, two others will emerge when you will have more affiliates. One line is the Power Line and the other is the Pay Line. You are commissioned 15% of the Product Volume that your line sells. Every month your Pay Line is subtracted from your Power Line and the cycle repeats itself.

Ariix gives you the chance to grow, giving you a new Pay Line with every $2,000 your pay line earns. Other earning methods are available and include a team lead bonus and a matching bonus.

Ariix Reviews and Complaints

Ariix has been developing constantly since its creation in 2011 and that only means that more and more people are attracted mainly by the earnings it promises and secondly by the products it sells.

But what you want to know is: does it work? You can choose to look for the answer in two places. The first is the Ariix website and the articles it influences – like posts written by people who are already members of this program or other MLM enthusiasts. That’s what other network marketers say as well in Herbalife, Amway, Isagenix and in any other similar system.

Secondly, you need to look at the big picture. How many confirmed cases of earnings you can find and how big were these earnings? Can you make money long-term? The answer to this last question is a solid “probably no” based on what the rate of success the MLMs have long-term.

The success of good, long-lasting companies is based on their products, while Ariix as well as other MLMs can only last if they convince people to join and trick them into buying their incredibly expensive products. With no confirmed cases of any kind of earnings at the lower levels and no high-quality products Ariix it seems like Ariix sells just dreams that will eventually die.

Conclusion – Is Ariix Worth It?

In my opinion, Ariix is just another MLM-company that tries to sell big dreams and overpriced products. I am an entrepreneur by heart but I am not a big fan of businesses that sell overpriced stuff just for the sake of making bigger profits themselves.

The fact is that Ariix and other similar network marketing companies are filled with half truths. I mean that they are drawing things in a better light than they really are. I don’t know what you think about it but I don’t like it so much.

My #1 work from home recommendation, Wealthy Affiliate, doesn’t give you exaggerated promises. They explain that you can make big money online but it requires work and persistence. Success doesn’t happen overnight but if you don’t quit, most likely you will succeed. That’s the business I like. Telling the things as they are.

I believe you would also prefer joining such business rather than suspicious MLM-companies. The link below will show how you can get started for free.

Asea Review

Name: Asea

Founded: 2007 by Verdis Norton

Type: Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Health Products.

Short Review: Asea offers extremely expensive products that have so-called “MLM-extra” in their prices. Some people reported positive effects after using their products but in my opinion, a big part of it has been a placebo effect. Most people say it’s just plain salt water with nice etiquette and an interesting story to charge more.

Take a look My #1 work from home Recommendation if you want to learn to make money online like I do.

What Is Asea?

Asea is a network marketing company founded by a successful businessman Verdis Norton. He has also former experience in huge Fortune-500 companies which can explain why he has also been able to grow Asea so well. At the moment the company operates in tens of different countries around the world and it has hit the top 100 MLM-companies in the world.

Asea resembles other multi-level marketing companies like Usana, Mannatech, Youngevity, Nerium International and so on. Now let’s take a look at their products. Later you’ll see how their business opportunity works and reviews from their customers.

Asea Products

Asea has been concentrating on two main products, unlike other huge MLM-companies that are selling hundreds of different products. Their names are:

  1. ASEA Redox Supplement
  2. RENU 28
asea products

Two Asea Flagship Products

Many people say Asea Redox is just salt water but based on the speeches of their distributors and their website is much more. I don’t have personal experience of using Asea water so I can’t give my own opinion. I would love to hear your experiences if you have used it.

Asea Redox is supposed to “communicate” with your body and have several positive effects like

  • Protect, rejuvenate, and restore cells.
  • The efficiency of your body’s own antioxidants can go up even 500%.
  • Gives superior support to athletes.
  • Helps and supports the vital activity of cellular communication.

The bottles are extremely expensive and they cost $15-35 per bottle depending on how many you buy. The more you buy, the cheaper each bottle gets but the whole price goes up naturally.

Renu 28 is a skincare product and it’s supposed to have multiple positive effects on your skin health:

  • Decreases eye wrinkles
  • Improves facial skin texture
  • Increases your skin’s smoothness
  • Increases skin’s elasticity
  • Increases skin’s moisture
asea product review

Asea skin care products are also extremely expensive.

Naturally, Asea has created a plan that you should follow to have the optimal benefit of their saltwater and skin care products. This means that you will need to buy their products regularly if you are willing to remain in the system. In the other words, you’ll be spending thousands of dollars per year on their products alone (add conference, training, event costs, etc).

Asea Compensation Plan

You need to buy Asea products in order to be a distributor (=participate their business). The startup fee is $50 and your personal product orders must be at least 100 Personal Volume per month (they have own point system). In order to move up in the ranking, your group product sales must be at least 300 Group Volume per month. Yes, they are an MLM-system and use the pyramid system where the guys on top of the pyramid make the big money.

Below you can see the comprehensive Asea compensation plan training by the vice president Justin Wilson. Notice that his goal is to sell you their products and the system so he is not unbiased in his speech. Anyway, this video helps you understand more how their system works.

So, you’ll earn a commission for all your own product sales and all your team’s (downline’s) sales. You need to build your team by recruiting more people to Asea. When they start selling products your income goes up and you start earning passive income. Asea has a point system that awards you for selling and recruiting but I am not going in details in this article because they are already explained in the video above.

You need to keep in mind that 95-55% of MLM-distributors fail in businesses like Asea. You need to work exceptionally hard/smart to succeed. Or just follow the training on the link below:

Asea Reviews & Complaints

Before rushing to buy expensive Asea products and join their system I think it’s wise to take a look at reviews of their customers. Did the products really work? Were they worth the money? Here are some reviews from real customers:

asea reviews and complaints

Faith Pablona wouldn’t recommend Asea products for other people because she thinks it’s just plain sea water.

Rachelle Hinz had different experiences than Faith and she claims that products helped her.

Paola didn’t see significant changes after using Asea products.

Does Asea Really Work?

This is a big question and I can’t fully answer it because I haven’t tried their products myself. However, I have observed what other people have said and I can give my opinion.

The fact is that their products are extremely expensive which is typical for MLM-systems. That’s why I usually say that there’s an “MLM-extra” in the prices. It helps them to pay bigger profits to their members but doesn’t add value for the customer.

Some people noticed positive effects after using Asea but some didn’t. Why is it so? Let me share one explanation.

If you buy Asea products, you buy them with the hope that they would work. Nobody wants to waste their money on products that don’t work. Therefore, you are most likely expecting positive results because you are investing time and money for them. You want to feel more energetic, healthy and strong.

Most of the time our thoughts become a self-fulfilling prophecy. A man who says himself all the time, “I am tired. I don’t have energy.” will most likely feel powerful. One highly energetic 80 years old businessman was once asked, “Don’t you ever feel tired?” He just responded, “Tired? What is that word? I never use it in my vocabulary so I don’t know what it means.”

Do you get the point? A big part of Asea’s effect is most likely just placebo effect. You feel good because you expect that you will feel good. Studies show that positive people live longer on average.

So, do Asea products work? They may work but I believe a big part of it is just a placebo effect. In addition, the positive impact on the skin can be just temporary.

Conclusion – Is Asea Worth It?

Somehow I would be interested in buying Asea products but I am quite sure it wouldn’t be the wisest decision. Their skin care products are just extremely overpriced and you can get similar products for a cheaper price literally anywhere.

Asea Redox, their salt water, is a bit more interesting. Still, it’s so expensive that I think it wouldn’t be worth the money. Their system overall resembles a product based pyramid scheme. They put their prices to the sky so they can make more profits. I would love to hear your opinions in the comments.

At the beginning of this article, I promised to give you my 4-step to success with your business. I make money online using this method and I have many friends who do so as well. So, it certainly works and I highly recommend using it if you are interested in making money online. It goes like this:

1.Choose your interest (For example health)

2.Build a basic website using templates and simple tools (Nowadays it’s possible even in 30 seconds without any former experience)

3.Get traffic to your website (From Google, Facebook, YouTube, Quora, Twitter, Bing, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. I get 80% of my traffic from Google. People come to my websites when they search for answers.)

4.Leave links => Earn revenue (When people click links on your website, go to other sites and buy something, you earn revenue. For example, you can leave a link to Amazon and when they buy any product from Amazon within 24 hours, you earn money.)

You don’t need an inventory. You don’t need any former experience. Everything you need is just willingness to learn and work. (And laptop and an Internet connection, of course) Some years ago I didn’t have any experience of this but nowadays I’m making a living online by following this 4-step formula. I just followed a step-by-step training and put in the practice.

Kannaway Review

Name: Kannaway

Type: Multi-Level Marketing. Health Products.

Short Review: Kannaway is an MLM-company selling expensive products and claiming they will change your life. Doesn’t this sound familiar? I have heard the same story from 50 other companies who are working in the same way like them.

If you truly love their products and you are a hardworking person, you may succeed with their system. However, personally, I don’t recommend Kannaway for several reasons (that I explain in my full review). If you are interested in a better business opportunity, I advise taking a look My #1 Recommendation to make money online.

What Is Kannaway?

Kannaway is a multi-level marketing company which was founded in XXXXX. They are selling many marijuana-related products that are supposed to heal you from sicknesses and improve your overall well-being. Probably you have noticed the relation between the names: Kanna Way = Cannabis Way. Probably you know that marijuana is used for some medications.

Kannawyay is still a relatively new company as it was founded only a few years ago. Compared to its competitors in the health industry of network marketing it’s still a baby. Other similar companies are, for example, Melaleuca, Herbalife, Amway and so on. Those companies have been around already for decades.

In my sincere opinion, the ideology of Kannaway is quite shady. Super expensive cannabis products that are supposed to change your life.

Kannaway Products – Overpriced or Life-Changing Products?

Kannaway product prices are insane. They charge hundreds of dollars for little bottles. Of course, they claim that the products are top notch but I wouldn’t be so convinced. Some people claimed they had very little or no effect at all after using these products. Kannaway distributors, naturally,  say that they are the best products in the world. Well, I have heard the same story from 100 MLM-programs as well.

The starter pack costs $262,50. It contains:

  • Chocolate Energy Chews
  • Premium Full Spectrum Caps
  • Rev!ve AM
  • Rev!ve PM 500 mg
kannaway products - starter pack

Kannaway Starter Pack $262,50.

I don’t go in a great detail in analyzing their products in this article because the main focus is on evaluating the business system. But I know that a big part of the effect of Kannaway products is just placebo. When you believe in something strong enough you will feel the effect even though it’s not real.

All the other members are praising the products and telling their testimonials so it’s easy to start believing in them. It’s like a religious cult.

Kannaway Compensation Plan

When you study Kannaway compensation plan they say that you can make income from 9 different sources in the company. In my opinion, they try to make it better than it really is. The reality is that you can make money with Kannaway by doing 2 activities:

  1. Sell their products.
  2. Recruit more people to the system.

Then you are able to get bigger bonuses and rewards when you sell and recruit more. Top earners have been in the company for years and they are “master-recruiters”. You need to recruit a lot if you want to succeed with network marketing. That’s one reason why many people don’t like MLM-systems so much.

Now that you know the true nature of this system, I let Kannaway member explain how the system works:

It always sounds so good when some of their highly trained members explain the system. I almost get interested until I remember how the system really works.

Kannaway Reviews & Complaints

You may seen also other Kannaway reviews on the Internet. They give you information how the system and products work. You can roughly divide them into two categories:

  1. Reviews by Kannaway distributors praising the system and products as much as they can.
  2. Reviews from other people who see the reality.

You may have noticed that many people claim Kannaway is a complete scam and not worth joining. They say that products have no (or only very little) effect. Still, the company is charging a huge price to rip off their customers.

Kannaway distributors, on the other hand, explain that products are so high quality that paying for them is certainly worth it. Well, all MLM-companies are saying it so there’s anything new here. After talking deeply with many network marketers, they have admitted that products are often expensive so they can make bigger profits.

Is Kannaway a Pyramid Scheme?

Officially Kannaway is not a pyramid scheme. They have real products and they make money by selling them. So, the only money doesn’t come from recruiting more people even though there is a big focus for doing that.

They use a pyramid form. You start from the bottom and move up in the pyramid by recruiting more people and helping your team to recruit more also. Doesn’t it sound like a pyramid scheme? Yes, it does but that’s just how network marketing works. Isagenix, Tupperware and hundreds of other MLM-companies are working with the same principles.

I’m a business-minded person and an entrepreneur by heart. Therefore some people have tried to get me in the world of network marketing. I have often asked why the products are so expensive. Often people have responded that then I could make bigger profits. But what about the customers? I don’t want to make bigger profits if the products really aren’t worth it. In my opinion, the best way is to care for the customer. What do you think?

Kannaway Income Disclosure Statement

I wasn’t able to find their income disclosure statement that would show how earnings divide between members. Probably it’s not public so they don’t want to show it to everyone.

However, I know from experience that top 5% is usually making more money than the rest 95% in total. Based on my researches of ~50 MLM-companies I have found it that usually around half of the people who start this kind of business earn nothing or very little. You need to be exceptional and be willing to work hard to get to the top 5%.

Kannaway pyramid scheme

Most network marketers end up with empty pockets. Follow this training to become exceptional.

Conclusion – Is Kannaway Worth It?

In my sincere opinion, they are not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend buying their overpriced products just to make their members’ wallets thick. Of course, I am being pretty straight here but I don’t want to take the responsibility that you spend hundreds of dollars and hours just to realize that it was a waste of time.

If you are interested in better business opportunities, I recommend taking a look at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s not an MLM-program or a get-rich-scheme with exaggerated promises. Still, their training, tools, and community have helped me to make money online and travel the world. I am not more tied to a 9-5 job because I make a living online. It’s possible for you as well. I just want to remind that success doesn’t come overnight but it’s worth it.

Even though I was working in a well-paying job in Austria (and before that in Finland) I noticed that there are even way better opportunities online. I am able to earn more, reach and help more people, learn more and live more. I would have been dumb if I would have skipped this opportunity.
